Verse 8

So be not like them; because your Father has knowledge of your needs even before you make your requests to him.

Matt 6:32 : 32 Because the Gentiles go in search of all these things: for your Father in heaven has knowledge that you have need of all these things:
Ps 38:9 : 9 Lord, all my desire is before you; my sorrow is not kept secret from you.
Luke 12:30 : 30 For the nations of the world go in search of all these things: but your Father has knowledge that you have need of them.
Phil 4:6 : 6 Have no cares; but in everything with prayer and praise put your requests before God.
John 16:23-27 : 23 And on that day you will put no questions to me. Truly I say to you, Whatever request you make to the Father, he will give it to you in my name. 24 Up to now you have made no request in my name: do so, and it will be answered, so that your hearts may be full of joy. 25 All this I have said to you in veiled language: but the time is coming when I will no longer say things in veiled language but will give you knowledge of the Father clearly. 26 In that day you will make requests in my name: and I do not say that I will make prayer to the Father for you, 27 For the Father himself gives his love to you, because you have given your love to me and have had faith that I came from God.
Ps 69:17-19 : 17 Let not your face be covered from your servant, for I am in trouble; quickly give me an answer. 18 Come near to my soul, for its salvation: be my saviour, because of those who are against me. 19 You have seen my shame, how I was laughed at and made low; my haters are all before you.
