Verse 39

But the Lord is the saviour of the upright: he is their strength in the time of trouble.

Ps 3:8 : 8 Salvation comes from the Lord; your blessing is on your people. (Selah.)
Ps 9:9 : 9 The Lord will be a high tower for those who are crushed down, a high tower in times of trouble;
Ps 91:15 : 15 When his cry comes up to me, I will give him an answer: I will be with him in trouble; I will make him free from danger and give him honour.
Ps 46:1 : 1 <To the chief music-maker. Of the sons of Korah; put to Alamoth. A Song.> God is our harbour and our strength, a very present help in trouble.
Isa 12:2 : 2 See, God is my salvation; I will have faith in the Lord, without fear: for the Lord Jah is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation.
Isa 33:2 : 2 O Lord, have mercy on us; for we have been waiting for your help: be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of trouble.
