Moses gathered the entire assembly of the Israelites and said to them, "These are the things that the LORD has commanded you to do."

And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.

Work is to be done for six days, but the seventh day will be holy to you, a Sabbath of complete rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death.

Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever doeth work therein shall be put to death.

You shall not kindle a fire in any of your homes on the Sabbath day.

Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

Moses said to the entire congregation of the Israelites, "This is what the LORD has commanded.

And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,

Take a contribution for the LORD from what you have. Let everyone whose heart is willing bring the LORD's offering: gold, silver, and bronze.

Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,

Blue thread, purple thread, crimson yarn, fine linen, and goats' hair.

And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,

7

Dyed red ram skins, fine leather, and acacia wood.

And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,

8

Oil for the lamps, spices for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense.

And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,

9

Onyx stones and other gems to be mounted on the ephod and the breastpiece.

And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.

10

All the skilled workers among you must come and make everything that the LORD has commanded:

And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD hath commanded;

11

The tabernacle, its tent, its covering, its clasps, its frames, its crossbars, its posts, and its bases.

The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his taches, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,

12

The ark with its poles, the atonement cover, and the curtain to shield it.

The ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering,

13

The table with its poles and all its utensils, and the bread of the Presence.

The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the shewbread,

14

The lampstand for light with its utensils and lamps, and the oil for the light.

The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,

15

The altar of incense with its poles, the anointing oil, the fragrant incense, and the curtain for the entrance to the tabernacle.

And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,

The altar of burnt offering with its bronze grate, its poles, and all its utensils; the basin with its stand.

The altar of burnt offering, with his brasen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the laver and his foot,

17

The curtains of the courtyard with its posts and bases, and the curtain for the entrance to the courtyard.

The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,

18

The tent pegs for the tabernacle and the courtyard, along with their ropes.

The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,

19

The finely woven garments for ministering in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments for his sons to serve as priests.

The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.

20

Then the entire assembly of the Israelites left Moses' presence.

And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.

21

Everyone whose heart was stirred and whose spirit was willing came and brought their offering to the LORD for the work on the tent of meeting, for all its service, and for the sacred garments.

And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD'S offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.

Both men and women, all who were willinghearted, brought brooches, earrings, rings, ornaments, and all kinds of gold items—each person gave an offering of gold to the LORD.

And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.

Everyone who had materials with them, including blue, purple, crimson yarn, fine linen, goat hair, and rams' skins dyed red or fine leather, brought them.

And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers' skins, brought them.

24

All those who could make a contribution of silver or bronze brought it as an offering to the LORD, and everyone who had acacia wood suitable for work brought it.

Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD'S offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.

25

Every skilled woman spun thread with her hands and brought what she had spun—blue, purple, crimson yarn, and fine linen.

And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.

All the women whose hearts were stirred with skill spun goat hair.

And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair.

27

The leaders brought onyx stones and other gemstones to be set in the ephod and the breastpiece.

And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;

28

They also brought spices and olive oil for the light, for the anointing oil, and for the fragrant incense.

And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

All the men and women whose hearts were willing to bring offerings for all the work the LORD had commanded through Moses brought them as a freewill offering to the LORD.

The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.

Then Moses said to the Israelites, 'See, the LORD has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah.'

And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD hath called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

31

He has filled him with the Spirit of God, granting him wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skill in all kinds of crafts.

And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;

32

He is able to design artistic works in gold, silver, and bronze.

And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,

33

He can cut and set gemstones, carve wood, and do all kinds of artistic craftwork.

And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work.

34

And he has also given him the ability to teach—both he and Oholiab son of Ahisamak, from the tribe of Dan.

And he hath put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

35

He has filled them with skill and wisdom to perform all kinds of craftsmanship—designing, embroidering in blue, purple, and crimson yarn, and fine linen, weaving, and doing all kinds of craftsmanship and artistic designs.

Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.
