If someone sins by hearing an oath and is a witness, whether they have seen it or know it, yet they do not report it, they will bear their guilt.

And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and is a witness, whether he hath seen or known of it; if he do not utter it, then he shall bear his iniquity.

Or if someone touches anything unclean, such as the carcass of an unclean wild animal, livestock, or swarming creature, and it is hidden from them, they become unclean and guilty.

Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether it be a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and if it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.

Or if someone touches human uncleanness, anything that makes a person unclean, and it is hidden from them but then they realize it, they become guilty.

Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness it be that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty.

Or if someone makes a rash oath to do something evil or good, whatever they may rashly utter with an oath, and it is hidden from them, but they later realize it, they are guilty in one of these cases.

Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with his lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever it be that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth of it, then he shall be guilty in one of these.

When someone realizes their guilt in one of these matters, they must confess the sin they have committed.

And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing:

They shall bring their guilt offering to the LORD for the sin they have committed: a female sheep or goat from the flock as a sin offering. The priest shall make atonement for them concerning their sin.

And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.

If they cannot afford a sheep, they shall bring to the LORD as a guilt offering for their sin two turtledoves or two young pigeons: one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering.

And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.

They shall bring them to the priest, who shall offer the one for the sin offering first. He shall wring its head from its neck without severing it completely.

And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer that which is for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide it asunder:

Then he shall sprinkle some of the blood of the sin offering on the side of the altar, and the rest of the blood shall be drained out at the base of the altar; it is a sin offering.

And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it is a sin offering.

The priest shall then offer the second bird as a burnt offering according to the regulation. In this way, the priest will make atonement for them for the sin they have committed, and they will be forgiven.

And he shall offer the second for a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.

If they cannot afford two turtledoves or two young pigeons, they shall bring as their offering for the sin they have committed a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering. They must not put oil or frankincense on it, for it is a sin offering.

But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put any frankincense thereon: for it is a sin offering.

They shall bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take a handful as its memorial portion and burn it on the altar on the fire offerings to the LORD; it is a sin offering.

Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, even a memorial thereof, and burn it on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it is a sin offering.

The priest shall make atonement for them for the sin they have committed in any of these matters, and they will be forgiven. The rest of the offering shall belong to the priest, like the grain offering.

And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and the remnant shall be the priest's, as a meat offering.

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

When someone commits a sin by unintentionally misusing the holy things of the LORD, they must bring their guilt offering to the LORD: a ram without blemish from the flock, according to your valuation in silver shekels, based on the shekel of the sanctuary, as a guilt offering.

If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:

They must make restitution for what they have misused in regard to the holy thing, adding a fifth of its value, and give it to the priest. The priest will make atonement for them with the ram of the guilt offering, and they will be forgiven.

And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.

If someone sins and does something against any of the commands of the LORD, even though they were unaware of it, they are still guilty and shall bear their punishment.

And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist it not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

They must bring to the priest a ram without blemish from the flock, valued according to your estimation, as a guilt offering. The priest will make atonement for them concerning the mistake they made unintentionally, though they were unaware of it, and they will be forgiven.

And he shall bring a ram without blemish out of the flock, with thy estimation, for a trespass offering, unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his ignorance wherein he erred and wist it not, and it shall be forgiven him.

It is a guilt offering; they have been guilty before the LORD.

It is a trespass offering: he hath certainly trespassed against the LORD.

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

If someone sins and is unfaithful to the LORD by deceiving their neighbor about something entrusted to them or left in their care, or stolen, or if they cheat their neighbor,

or if they find lost property and lie about it, or if they swear falsely about any such sin that may be committed,

when they sin and become guilty, they must return what they have stolen, or taken by extortion, or what was entrusted to them, or the lost property they found.

Or anything about which someone swore falsely, they shall repay the full amount and add a fifth to it. They must give it to the owner on the same day they acknowledge their guilt.

They shall bring their guilt offering to the LORD: a ram without blemish from the flock, valued according to your estimation, as a guilt offering to the priest.

The priest shall make atonement for them before the LORD, and they will be forgiven for any of the things they did that made them guilty.
