Verse 53

For this corruptible, must put on incorruption, and this mortall must put on immortalitie.

2 Cor 5:2-4 : 2 For therfore sygh we, desiryng to be clothed with our house whiche is from heauen: 3 So yet, yf that we be founde clothed, and not naked. 4 For we that are in this tabernacle sigh, & being burdened because we would not be vnclothed, but would be clothed vpo, that mortalitie might be swalowed vp of lyfe.
1 John 3:2 : 2 Dearely beloued, nowe are we the sonnes of God, and yet it doth not appeare what we shalbe: But we knowe that when he shall appeare, we shalbe lyke hym, for we shall see hym as he is.
Gal 3:27 : 27 For all ye that are baptized, haue put on Christe.
Eph 4:24 : 24 And to put on that newe man, which after God is shapen, in righteousnesse & holynesse of trueth.
Rom 2:7 : 7 To them, whiche by continuyng in well doyng seke for glorie, and honour, and immortalitie, eternall lyfe.
Rom 13:12-14 : 12 The nyght is passed, the day is come nye. Let vs therfore caste away the deedes of darknesse, & let vs put on the armour of lyght. 13 Let vs walke honestly as in the day, not in riotyng & dronkennesse, neither in chaumberyng & wantonnesse, neither in strife and enuying. 14 But put ye on ye Lorde Iesus Christe. And make not prouision for the fleshe, to the lustes therof.
