Verse 2
Thus saith the Lord: The people of Israel which escaped in the wildernesse from the sworde, founde grace to come into their rest.

For it had ben better for vs to haue serued the Egyptians, then for to dye in the wyldernesse.

Where is he that hath geuen his holy spirite among them? 12 He led them by the right hande of Moyses with his glorious arme, deuiding the water before them, wherby he gat him selfe an euerlasting name. 13 He led them in the deepe as an horse is led in the playne, that they shoulde not stumble. 14 As a tame beast goeth in the fielde, and the spirite of God geueth hym rest: thus (O God) hast thou led thy people, to make thy selfe a glorious name withall.
