Verse 17

May he be a ruler that loueth not right? or may he that is a very innocent man do vngodly?

2 Sam 23:3 : 3 The God of Israel spake to me, euen the most mightie of Israel sayde: A ruler ouer men being iust, ruling in ye feare of God:
Job 40:8 : 8 Wylt thou disanul my iudgement? or wylt thou condempne me, that thou mayst be righteous?
Gen 18:25 : 25 That be farre from thee that thou shouldest do after this maner, and slaye the ryghteous with the wicked, & that the ryghteous should be as the wicked, that be farre from thee: Shall not the iudge of all the worlde do accordyng to ryght?
2 Sam 19:21 : 21 But Abisai the sonne of Zaruia aunswered, and sayd: Shall not Simei dye for this, because he cursed the Lordes annoynted?
Job 1:22 : 22 In all these thinges dyd Iob not offende, nor charged God foolishly.
Rom 3:5-7 : 5 But yf our vnrighteousnes setteth foorth the righteousnes of God, what shall we saye? Is God vnryghteous which taketh vengeaunce? I speake after the maner of men, 6 God forbyd. For howe then shall God iudge the worlde? 7 For yf the trueth of God hath more abounded through my lye, vnto his glory, why am I as yet iudged as a sinner?
Rom 9:14 : 14 What shall we say then? Is there any vnrighteousnes with God? God forbid.
