Verse 43
And immediatly whyle he yet spake, commeth Iudas, which was one of the twelue, and with hym a great number of people, with swordes & staues, from the hye priestes, and scribes, and elders.

For thus must it be. 55 In that same houre, sayde Iesus to the multitudes: Ye be come out, as it were vnto a thiefe, with swordes and staues, for to take me. I sate dayly with you, teachyng in the temple, and ye toke me not. 56 But all this is done, that the scriptures of the prophetes myght be fulfylled. Then all the disciples forsoke him, and fledde.

And whe he touched his eare, he healed hym. 52 Then Iesus said vnto the hye priestes and rulers of the temple, and the elders which were come to hym: Be ye come out as vnto a thiefe, with swordes and staues? 53 When I was dayly with you in the temple, ye stretched foorth no handes agaynst me: But this is euen your very houre, and the power of darknesse.

The seruauntes name was Malchus. 11 Therefore sayth Iesus vnto Peter, Put vp thy sworde into the sheathe: shall I not drynke of the cuppe whiche my father hath geuen me?
