And it came to passe, that he went thorowe the corne fieldes on the Sabboth dayes, and his disciples began by ye way to plucke the eares of corne.

• Deut 23:24-25 : 24 When thou commest into thy neighbours vineyarde, thou mayest eate grapes thy belly ful at thine owne pleasure: but thou shalt put none in thy vessell. 25 Euen so, when thou commest into thy neighbours corne, thou mayest plucke the eares with thyne hande: but thou shalt not moue a sickle vnto thy neyghbours corne.
