( And beholde, a woman which was diseased with an issue of blood twelue yeres, came behynde hym, and touched the hemme of his vesture.

Talitha cumi, which is, yf one do interprete it, damsell (I say vnto thee) aryse. 42 And strayghtway the damsell arose, and walked: For she was of the age of twelue yeres. And they were astonyed out of measure. 43 And he charged them straytly, that no man shoulde knowe of it: and commaunded to geue her meate.

And he sayde: Weepe not, the damsell is not dead, but slepeth. 53 And they laughed hym to scorne, knowyng that she was dead. 54 And he thrust them all out, and toke her by the hande, and cryed, saying: Mayde, aryse. 55 And her spirite came agayne, and she rose straightway: And he commaunded to geue her meate. 56 And the father and the mother of her, were astonyed: But he warned the that they should tel no man what was done.
