These are also parables of Solomon, which the men of Ezekia king of Iuda copied out.

Prov 1:1 : 1 The prouerbes of Solomon the sonne of Dauid, kyng of Israel:
1 Kgs 4:32 : 32 And Solomon spake three thousande prouerbes: And his songes were a thousande and fiue.
Prov 10:1 : 1 A wyse sonne maketh a glad father: but an vndiscrete sonne is an heauinesse vnto his mother.

Hos 1:1 : 1 The worde of the Lorde came vnto Osea the sonne of Beeri, in the dayes of Ozea, Ioathan, Ahas, and Hezekias, kynges of Iuda, and in the tyme of Ieroboam the sonne of Ioas kyng of Israel.
Mic 1:1 : 1 The worde of the Lorde came vnto Micheas the Morasthite, in the dayes of Iotham, Ahas, & Hezekiah, kinges of Iuda, which he sawe concerning Samaria and Hierusalem.
