They haue prepared a net for my feete, that some man might presse downe my soule: they haue digged a pit before me, and are fallen into the midst of it them selues. Selah.

Ps 7:15-16 : 15 He hath made a graue and digged it: but he hym selfe wyll fall into the pit whiche he hath made. 16 For his labour shall come vpon his owne head: and his wickednesse shall fall vpon his owne pate.
Ps 9:15-16 : 15 The Heathen are sunke downe into the pit that they made: their owne foote is snared in the same net whiche they had layde priuily for other. 16 God is knowen by the iudgement that he hath executed: the vngodly is trapped in ye worke of his owne handes, this ought to be considered alwayes. Ps 35:7-8 : 7 For without a cause they haue priuily layde for me a pit full of their nettes: without a cause they haue made a digyng vnto my soule. 8 Let a sodayne destruction come vpon hym vnawares: and his net that he hath layde priuily catch hym selfe, let him fall into it with his owne destruction.
