Exod 19:3-9 : 3 And Moses wente vp vnto God. And Moses tolde the wordes of the people vnto the LORDE agayne. 9 And the LORDE sayde vnto Moses: Beholde, I wyll come vnto the in a thicke cloude, that the people maye heare my wordes, which I speake vnto the, and beleue the for euer. And Moses shewed the wordes of the people vnto the LORDE. 10 The LORDE sayde vnto Moses: Go vnto the people, and sanctifie the to daye and tomorow, yt they maye wash their clothes, 11 and be ready agaynst the thirde daye: for vpon the thirde daye shall the LORDE come downe vpon mount Sinai before all the people. 12 And set markes rounde aboute the people, and saye vnto them: Bewarre, that ye go not vp in to ye mount, ner touch ye border of it. For whosoeuer toucheth ye mout, shal dye ye death. 13 There shal no hade touch it, but he shall either be stoned, or shot thorow: whether it be beest or man, it shal not lyue. Whan the horne bleweth, then shal they come vp vnto the mounte. 14 Moses wente downe from the mount vnto the people, and sanctified them. And they wasshed their clothes. 15 And he sayde vnto them: Be ready agaynst the thirde daye, and no man come at his wife. 16 Now whan the thirde daye came (and it was early) it beganne to thonder and lighten, and there was a thicke cloude vpon the mount, and a noyse of a trompet exceadinge mightie. And the people that were in the tentes, were afrayde. 17 And Moses brought the people out of the tentes to mete wt God, and they stode vnder the mount.
Exod 20:19-20 : 19 and sayde vnto Moses: Talke thou with vs, we wil heare: and let not God talke with vs, we might els dye. 20 And Moses sayde vnto the people: Be not afrayed, for God is come to proue you, and that his feare maye be before youre eyes, yt ye synne not.
Exod 21:1-9 : 1 These are the lawes, that thou shalt laye before them. 2 Yf thou bye a seruaunt that is an Hebrue, he shal serue the sixe yeares, in the seuenth yeare shall he go out fre and lowse. 3 Yf he came alone, then shal he go out alone also: but yf he came maried, then shall his wife go out with him. 4 Yf his master haue geue him a wife, & she haue borne him sonnes or doughters, the shal the wife and ye children be the masters, but he shall go out alone. 5 Neuertheles yf the seruaunt saye: I loue my master, and my wife and children, I wil not go out fre: 6 then let his master brynge him before the Goddes, and holde him to the dore or post, and bore him thorow the eare with a botkin, and let him be his seruaunt for euer. 7 Yf a man sell his doughter to be an handmayde, then shal she not go out as the menseruauntes. 8 But yf she please not hir master, and he haue not maried her, then shal he let her go fre: but to sell her vnto a strauge people he hath no auctorite, for so moch as he hath despysed her. 9 Yf he promyse her vnto his sonne, then shal he do vnto her after the lawe of doughters. 10 But yf he geue him another wife, then shall he mynishe nothinge of hir foode, rayment, and dewtye of mariage. 11 Yf he do not these thre, then shal she go out fre, and paye nothinge.
Num 16:3-9 : 3 And they gathered them selues agaynst Moses & Aaro & sayde vnto them: Ye make to moch adoo, for all the congregacion is holy euery one, and the LORDE is amonge them: Why lifte ye youre selues vp then aboue the congregacion of the LORDE? 4 Whan Moses herde yt, he fell vpo his face, 5 & saide vnto Corah, & to all his company: Tomorow shal ye LORDE shewe who is his, & who is holy to come vnto him. Who so euer he choseth, ye same shal come vnto him. 6 This do: Take ye censors, thou Corah & all yi copanye, 7 & do fyre therin, & put incense theron tomorow before the LORDE: then whom so euer the LORDE choseth, the same shal be holy. Ye make to moch a doo, ye children of Leui. 8 And Moses sayde vnto Corah: Heare ye childre of Leui, 9 it not ynough vnto you, yt ye God of Israel hath separated you fro ye multitude of Israel, yt ye shulde come nye him, to do the seruyce of the dwellynge place of the LORDE, and stonde before the people to mynister vnto them? 10 He hath caused the and all thy brethren the childre of Leui with the, to come nye vnto him: and now ye seke the presthode also. 11 Thou and all thy copany conspyre agaynst the LORDE. What is Aaron, that ye shulde murmur against him? 12 And Moses sent to call Datha & Abira ye sonnes of Eliab. But they saide: We wil not come vp. 13 Is it to litle yt thou hast brought vs out of ye lande of Egipte (yt floweth wt mylke & hony) to kyll vs in ye wildernesse: but thou must raigne ouer vs also? 14 How goodly well hast thou brought vs in to a lande, that floweth wt milke and hony, & geue vs feldes and vyniardes in possession? Wilt thou put out these mens eyes? We will not come vp. 15 Then was Moses very wroth, & saide vnto ye LORDE: Turne ye not vnto their meatofferinges. I haue not take so moch as an Asse fro the, nether haue I hurte eny of the. 16 And Moses sayde vnto Corah: Tomorow be thou & all yi companye before ye LORDE, thou, and they, & Aaron. 17 And take euery one his censer, and put incense therin, and come before the LORDE, euery one with his censer (that is two hundreth and fiftye censers) and both thou and Aaron take either his censer. 18 And euery one toke his censer, and put fyre therin, and layed incense theron, and came before the dore of the Tabernacle of witnes, and Moses and Aaron also. 19 And Corah gathered ye whole congregacio agaynst the before the dore of the Tabernacle of witnes. But ye glory of the LORDE appeared before ye whole congregacion. 20 And ye LORDE spake vnto Moses & Aaron, & sayde: 21 Separate youre selues fro this congregacio, yt I maye shortly consume them. 22 And they fell vpon their faces, & sayde: O God, thou God of the spretes of all flesh, yf one man haue synned, wilt thou therfore be wroth ouer the whole congregacion? 23 And the LORDE spake vnto Moses, & saide: 24 Speake to the congregacio, and saye: Come vp from ye dwellynge of Corah, and Dathan, and Abiram. 25 And Moses stode vp, & wente vnto Dathan & Abiram, & the Elders of Israel folowed him, 26 & he spake to ye cogregacio, & saide: Departe fro ye tentes of these vngodly me & touche nothinge yt is theirs, yt ye perishe not in eny of their sinnes. 27 And they gat them vp from the dwellynge of Corah, Dathan, & Abiram. But Dathan and Abira came out, and stode in the dore of their tentes, with their wyues, and sonnes and children. 28 And Moses sayde: Hereby shal ye knowe that the LORDE hath sent me, to do all these workes, and that I haue not done them of myne awne hert. 29 Yf these men dye the comon death of all men, or be vysited as all men are vysited, then hath not the LORDE sent me. 30 But yf the LORDE make a new thinge, and the earth open hir mouth, and swalowe them with all that they haue, so yt they go downe quycke in to hell, the shal ye knowe, that these men haue blasphemed the LORDE. 31 And wha he had spoke out all these wordes, ye groude cloue asunder vnder the, 32 & the earth opened hir wouth, & swalowed the, wt their houses, & all the me yt were wt Corah, & all their substauce, 33 and they wente downe quycke in to the hell, with all that they had. And the earth closed vpo them, & so they perished from amonge ye congregacio. 34 And all Israel yt were aboute the, fled at ye crye of the, for they sayde: That ye earth swalowe not vs also. 35 Morouer the fyre came out fro the LORDE, and consumed the two hundreth and fyftye men, that offred the incense.
Num 16:41-42 : 41 On the nexte morow murmured ye whole congregacion of ye childre of Israel against Moses & Aaro, & saide: Ye haue slayne ye people of ye LORDE. 42 And whan the cogregacio was gathered agaynst Moses & Aaro, they turned the towarde ye Tabernacle of witnes And beholde, the ye cloude couered ye Tabernacle, & ye glory of ye LORDE appeared.
Deut 5:27-31 : 27 Go thou and heare all yt the LORDE oure God sayeth, and tell us. All yt the LORDE sayeth vnto the, that will we heare and do. 28 Whan the LORDE herde the voyce of yor wordes which ye spake vnto me, he sayde vnto me: I haue herde ye voyce of the wordes of this people, which they haue spoken vnto ye. It is all good that they haue spoken. 29 But who shal geue them soch an herte, yt they maye feare me, & kepe all my comaundementes as longe as they lyue, yt it maye go well with them, and with their childre for euer? 30 Go & saye vnto them: Get you in to yor tentes agayne. 31 But thou shalt stonde here before me, that I maye tell the all the commaundementes, and ordinauces and lawes which thou shalt teach them yt they maye do therafter in the lode, which I shal geue the to possesse.
Deut 6:1-3 : 1 These are the commaundementes, ordinaunces & lawes which ye LORDE yor God hath comaunded, yt ye shulde lerne them, & do them, in the londe whyther ye go to possesse it, 2 that thou mayest feare the LORDE yi God, & kepe all his ordinauces & commaundementes, which I commaunde the, thou and yi children, and yi childers children all ye dayes of youre life, that ye maye lyue loge. 3 Thou shalt heare (O Israel) & take hede, yt thou do therafter, yt it maye go well with ye, & that thou mayest multiplye greatly, as ye LORDE God of yi fathers hath promysed the a londe yt floweth wt mylke & hony.
Deut 30:19-20 : 19 I take heauen and earth this daye to recorde ouer you: I haue layed before you life and death, blessinge and cursinge, that thou mayest chose life, and that thou and thy sede maye lyue, 20 yt ye maye loue the LORDE youre God, and herken vnto his voyce, and cleue vnto him: (For he is thy life and thy loge age) that thou mayest dwell in the londe, which the LORDE sware vnto thy fathers Abraham, Isaac and Iacob, to geue them.
