These are ye names of the children of Israel, which came in to Egipte, Iacob & his sonnes. The first borne sonne of Iacob: Ruben.

Aminadab begat Naasson the prynce of the children of Iuda. 11 Naasson begat Salmon. Salmon begat Boos. 12 Boos begat Obed. Obed begat Isai. 13 Isai begat Eliab his first sonne, Abinadab the seconde, Samma the thirde, 14 Nathanael the fourth, Raddai ye fifth, 15 Ozem ye sixte, Dauid ye vij. 16 And their sisters were Zeruia & Abigail. The childre of Zeruia are these thre: Abisai, Ioab & Asahel. 17 Abigail begat Amasa. The father of Amasa was Iether an Ismaelite. 18 Caleb the sonne of Hesrom begat Asuba ye woman, & Ierigoth. And these are the same womans childre: Ieser, Sobab, and Ardon. 19 But wha Asuba dyed, Caleb toke Ephrat, which bare him Hur. 20 Hur begat Vri. Vri begat Bezaleel. 21 Afterwarde laye Hesrom with ye doughter of Machir the father of Gilead, & he toke her wha he was thre score yeare olde, and she bare him Segub. 22 Segub begat Iair, which had thre & twentye cities in the londe of Gilead. 23 And he toke out of the same Iesur and Aram the townes of Iair, and Kenath with the vyllages therof, thre score cities. All these are the children of Machir ye father of Gilead. 24 After ye death of Hesrom in Caleb Ephrata, lefte Hesrom his wife vnto Abia: which (wife) bare him Ashur ye father of Thecoa. 25 Ierahmeel the first sonne of Hesrom had children: the first Ram, Buna, Oren and Ozem and Ahia. 26 And Ierahmeel had yet another wife, whose name was Athara, she is ye mother of Onam. 27 The childre of Ram the first sonne of Ierahmeel are, Maaz, Iamin and Eker. 28 Onam had children: Samai and Iada. The children of Samai are, Nadab & Abisur. 29 Abisurs wife was called Abihail, which bare him Ahban and Molid. 30 The childre of Nadab are, Seled and Appaim. And Seled dyed without children. 31 The children of Appaim: Iesei. The children of Iesei: Sesan. The childre of Sesan: Ahelai. 32 The childre of Iada ye brother of Samai are, Iether & Ionathan. But Iether dyed without childre. 33 The children of Ionathan are, Peleth and Sasa: These are the children of Ierahmeel. 34 As for Sesan, he had no sones, but a doughter. And Sesan had a seruaut an Egipcian, whose name was Iatha. 35 And Sesan gaue his doughter vnto Iatha his seruaut to wife, which bare him Athai. 36 Athai begat Nathan. Nathan begat Sabad. 37 Sabad begat Ephal. Ephal begat Obed. 38 Obed begat Iehu. Iehu begat Asaria. 39 Asaria begat Halez. Halez begat Elleasa. 40 Elleasa begat Sissemai. Sissemai begat Sallum. 41 Sallum begat Iekamia. Iekamia begat Elisama. 42 The children of Caleb the brother of Ierahmeel are, Mesa his first sonne, which is the father of Siph, and of the children of Maresa the father of Hebron. 43 The children of Hebron are, Corah, Thapuah, Rekem, & Sama. 44 Sama begat Raham ye father of Iarkaam. Rekem begat Samai. 45 The sonne of Samai was called Maon, & Maon was ye father of Bethzur. 46 Epha Calebs concubyne bare Haram, Mosa & Gases. Haram begat Gases. 47 The childre of Iahdai are, Rekem, Iotham, Gesan, Pelet, Epha and Saaph. 48 Maecha Calebs concubyne bare Seber and Thirhena. 49 And she bare Saaph also ye father of Madmanna, and Scheua the father of Machbena, and the father of Gibea. But Achsa was Calebs doughter. 50 These were the children of Caleb: Hur ye first sonne of Ephrata, Sobal the father of Kiriath Iearim, 51 Salma ye father of Bethleem, Hareph ye father of Beth Sader. 52 And Sobal the father of Kiriath Iearim had sonnes, namely the halfe kynred of Manuhoth. 53 The kynreds at Kiriath Iearim were ye Iethites, Puthites, Sumathites & Misraites. From these came forth the Zaregathites & Esthaolites. 54 The children of Salma are Bethleem & the Netophathites the crowne of the house of Ioab, and the halfe of the Manahites of the Zareite. 55 And ye kynreds of the scrybes which dwelt at Iabes, are ye Thireathites, Simeathites, Suchothites, these are the Kenites, yt came of Hamath the father of Beth Rechab.

These chaced awaye the of Gath. 14 His brethre Sasak, Ieremoth, 15 Sebadia, Arad, Ader, 16 Michael, Iespa and Ioha, these are the children of Bria. 17 Sebadia Mesullam, Ezechi, Heber, 18 Iesmerai, Ieslia, Ioab, these are ye childre of Elpaal. 19 Iakim Sichri, Sabdi, 20 Eloenai, Zilthai, Eliel, 21 Adaia, Braia and Simrath, these are the childre of Semei. 22 Iespan, Eber, Eliel, 23 Abdon, Sichri, Hanan, 24 Hanania, Elan, Enthothia, 25 Iephdeia and Penuel, these are the children of Sasak. 26 Samserai, Seharia, Athalia, 27 Iaeresia, Elia and Sichri, these are, the children of Ieroham. 28 These are the heades of the fathers of their kynreds, which dwelt at Ierusalem. 29 But at Gibeon dwelt, the father of Gibeon, & his wyues name was Maecha, 30 and his first sonne was Abdon, Zur, Cis, Baal, Nadab, 31 Gedor, Ahio and Secher. 32 Mikloth begat Simea. And they dwelt ouer agaynst their brethre at Ierusalem with theirs. 33 Ner begat Cis. Cis begat Saul. Saul begat Ionathas, Melchisua, Abinadab and Esbaal. 34 The sonne of Ionathas was Meribaal. Meribaal begat Micha. 35 The children of Micha were: Pithon, Melech, Thaerea and Ahas. 36 Ahas begat Ioadda. Ioadda begat Alemeth, Asmaueth and Simri. Simri begat Moza. 37 Moza begat Binea, whose sonne was Rapha, whose sonne was Eleasa, whose sonne was Azel. 38 Azel had sixe sonnes, whose names were: Esricam, Bochru, Iesmael, Searia, Abadia, Hanan, all these were the sonnes of Azel. 39 The children of Esek his brother were: Vlam his first sonne, Ieus the seconde, Elipelet the thirde. 40 The children of Vlam were valeaunt men, and coulde handell bowes, and had many sonnes, and sonnes sonnes an hundreth and fiftye. All these are of the children of Ben Iamin.

The children of Ruben the first sonne of Israel, are these: Hanoch, Pallu, Hezron, Charmi: These are the generacions of Ruben. 15 The children of Simeon are these: Iemuel, Iamin, Ohad, Iachin, Zophar, and Saul the sonne of the Cananitish woman: These are the generacions of Symeon. 16 These are the names of the childre of Leui in their generacios: Gerson, Rahath and Merari: Leui was an hundreth and seuen & thirtie yeare olde. 17 The children of Gerson are these: Libni and Semei in their generacions. 18 The childre of Rahath are these: Amram, Iezear, Hebron, Usiel. Rahath was an hundreth & thre & thirtie yeare olde.

Pallu: of whom cometh the kynred of the Palluites. 6 Hesron: of whom cometh the kynred of the Hesronites. Carmi: of whom cometh ye kynred of the Carmites. 7 These are the kynreds of the Rubenites. And the nombre of the was, thre & fourtye thousande, seuen hundreth & thirtye. 8 But the childre of Pallu were, Eliab. 9 And the children of Eliab were Nemuel, and Dathan and Abiram. This is yt Dathan & Abira, those famous men in the congregacion, which stode vp agaynst Moses and Aaron in the copany of Corah, whan they rose vp agaynst the LORDE, 10 & the earth opened hir mouth, and swalowed the wt Corah, wha the copany dyed, what tyme as the fyre consumed two hundreth & fiftye men, & they became a toke. 11 But the children of Corah dyed not.

- Gen 29:1-9 : 1 Then Iacob gat him vp vpon his fete, and wente in to the east countre, 2 & loked aboute him, and beholde, there was a well in the felde, and ye flockes of shepe therby, for the flockes dranke of the well. And there laye a greate stone at the welles mouth, 3 and thyther they vsed to brynge the flockes, and to roule the stone from ye mouth of the well, and to geue the shepe drynke, & so they put the stone agayne vpon the welles mouth in to his place. 4 And Iacob sayde vnto them: Brethren, whece be ye? They answered: we are of Haran. 5 He sayde vnto them: Knowe ye Laban the sonne of Nahor? They answered: We knowe him well. 6 He sayde: Is he in good health? They answered: he is in good health. And lo, there commeth his doughter Rachel with the shepe. 7 He sayde: It is yet hye daye, & is not yet tyme to dryue in the catell: geue the shepe to drynke, & go youre waye, & fede them. 8 They answered: We can not, tyll all the flockes be brought together, and tyll we roule the stone from the welles mouth, & so geue the shepe drynke. 9 Whyle he yet talked with them, Rachel came with hir fathers shepe, for she kepte ye shepe. 10 Whan Iacob sawe Rachel ye doughter of Laban his mothers brother, and the shepe of Laban his mothers brother, he wete, & rouled the stone from the welles mouth, and gaue his mothers brother shepe to drynke, 11 and kyssed Rachel, lift vp his voyce, and wepte, 12 and tolde her, yt he was hir fathers brother, and ye sonne of Rebecca. Then ranne she, and tolde her father. 13 Wha Laban herde of Iacob his sisters sonne, he ranne to mete him, and enbraced him, and kyssed him, and brought him in to his house. And so he tolde him all this matter. 14 The sayde Laban vnto him: Wel, thou art my bone and my flesh. Abyde with me a moneth longe. 15 But after that saide he vnto Iacob: Because thou art my brother, shalt thou therfore serue me for nought? Tell me, what shall thy wages be. 16 Laban had two doughters, the eldest was called Lea, & the yongest Rachel. 17 And Lea was tender eyed, but Rachel was beutyfull & well fauoured of face, 18 and Iacob loued her well, and sayde: I will serue the seuen yeare, for Rachel thy yongest doughter. 19 Laban answered: It is better that I geue her the, then vnto another: tary thou with me. 20 So Iacob serued seuen yeare for Rachel, and they semed vnto him but few dayes, he loued her so well. 21 And Iacob saide vnto Laban: geue me my wyfe, for the tyme is come that I shulde lye with her. 22 The Laban bad all the people of that place, and made a mariage. 23 But at eue he toke his doughter Lea, and brought her in vnto him, and he laye wt her. 24 And Laban gaue Zilpa his mayde vnto his doughter Lea to be hir mayde. 25 But on the morow, beholde, it was Lea. And he sayde vnto Laban: Why hast thou done this vnto me? Haue not I serued ye for Rachel? Why hast thou then begyled me? 26 Laban answered: It is not the maner in oure countre, to mary the yongest before the eldest. 27 Holde out this weke, & I will geue the this also, for the seruyce yt thou shalt do me yet seuen yeares more. 28 Iacob dyd so, & helde out yt weke. Then gaue he him Rachel his doughter to wyfe. 29 And Laban gaue Bilha his mayden vnto Rachel his doughter to be hir mayden. 30 So he laye with Rachel also, & loued Rachel more the Lea, and serued him yet seuen yeares more.

Thou shalt not be the chefest: For thou hast clymmed vp vpon thy fathers bed, euen than defyledest thou my couch with goynge vp. 5 Symeon and Leui brethren, their deedly weapens are perlous instrumentes. 6 In to their secretes come not my soule, and my worshipe be not ioyned with their congregacion: for in their wrath they slew a man, and in their selfwyll they houghed an oxe. 7 Cursed be their wrath, because it is so fearce: and their indignacion, because it is so rigorous. I wil deuyde them in Iacob, and scater them in Israel 8 Iuda, thou art he. Thy brethren shall prayse the: for thy hade shal be in thine enemies neck: thy fathers children shall stoupe vnto the. 9 Iuda is a yonge lyon, thou art come vp hye my sonne, fro the spoyle. He kneled downe and couched himself as a lyon & as a lionesse: who wil rayse him vp? 10 The cepter shal not be remoued fro Iuda, ner a master fro his fete, tyll the Worthye come, and vnto him shal the people fall. 11 He shall bynde his foale vnto the vyne, and his Asses colte to ye noble braunch. He shal wash his garment in wyne, and his mantell in the bloude of grapes. 12 His eyes are roudier then wyne, and his teth whyter then mylck. 13 Zabulon shal dwell in the hauen of the see, and in the porte of shippes, and shal border vpon Sydon. 14 Isachar shal be a stronge Asse, & laye him downe betwixte ye borders. 15 And he saw rest, that it was good, and the lande, that it was pleasaunt. And bowed downe his shulder to beare, and became a seruaut vnto trybute. 16 Dan shal be iudge in his people, as well as a trybe in Israel. 17 Dan shalbe a serpent in the waye, and an edder in the path, and byte the horse in the heles, that his ryder maye fall backwarde. 18 LORDE I loke for thy saluacion. 19 As for Gad, a wapened hoost of men shal fall violently vpon him, but he shall hurte them in the hele. 20 Of Asser cometh his fat bred, and he shal geue delicates vnto kynges. 21 Nepthali is a swift hynde, and geueth goodly wordes. 22 The fruteful sonne Ioseph, that florishinge sonne to loke vpon, the doughters go vpo the wall. 23 And though the shoters angered him, stroue with him, and hated him, 24 yet his bowe bode fast, and the armes of his hades were made stroge by the handes of ye Mightie in Iacob. Of him are come herdmen & stones in Israel. 25 Of yi fathers God art thou helped, & of the Allmightie art thou blessed, wt blessynges of heauen from aboue, with blessinges of ye depe yt lyeth vnder, with blessynges of brestes & wombes. 26 The blessinges promised vnto thy father and my fore elders go mightely, after the desyre of the hyest in the worlde: these shal light on Iosephs heade, and on the toppe of his heade, that was separate from his brethren. 27 Ben Iamin, a rauyshinge wolfe. In the mornynge shal he deuoure the praye, but in the euenynge he shal deuyde the spoyle. 28 All these are the twolue trybes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake vnto them, whan he blessed them, euery one with a sundrye blessynge. 29 And he commaunded them, and sayde vnto them: I shal be gathered vnto my people, burye me with my fathers in ye caue which is in the felde of Ephron the Hethite, 30 in the dubble caue that lyeth ouer against Mamre in ye lande of Canaa, which Abraha bought with the felde, of Ephron the Hethite for a possession to burye in. 31 There buryed they Abraha & Sara his wife, there buried they Isaac also & Rebecca his wife: & their buried I Lea, 32 in the good of the felde & of the caue therin, which was bought of the Hethites. 33 And whan Iacob had ended this commaundement vnto his children, he pluckte his fete together vpon the bed, and died, and was gathered vnto his people.
