Verse 12

But yf it be geue to one yt is not lerned, or sayde vnto him: rede this lettre: Then sayeth he. I can not rede.

John 7:15-16 : 15 And the Iewes marueyled and sayde: How can he ye scrypture, seynge he hath not lerned it? 16 Iesus answered them, and sayde: My doctryne is not myne, but his that hath sent me.
Isa 28:12-13 : 12 This shal bringe rest, yf one refresh the weery, ye this shal bringe rest. But they had no will to heare. 13 And therfore the LORDE shal answere their stubbournes (Comaunde yt maye be comaunded, byd yt maye be bydden, forbyd yt maye be forbydde, kepe backe yt maye be kepte backe, here a litle, there a litle) That they maye go forth, fall backwarde, be brussed, snared and taken.
Isa 29:18 : 18 Then shal deaf men vnderstonde the wordes of the boke, and the eyes of the blynde shal se without eny cloude or darknes.
Jer 5:4 : 4 Therfore I thought in my self: peraduenture they are so symple and folish, that they vnderstonde nothinge of the LORDES waye, and iudgmentes of oure God.
Hos 4:6 : 6 my people perish, because they haue no knowlege. Seinge then that thou hast refused vnderstondinge, therfore wil I refuse ye also: so that thou shalt nomore be my prest. And for so moch as thou hast forgotten the lawe of thy God, I wil also forget thy childre.
