Verse 8

But the toge can no man tame. Yt is an vnruely euell full of deedly poysou.

Rom 3:13 : 13 Their throte is an open sepulcre, with their tunges they haue disceaued, the poyson off Aspes is vnder their lippes.
Ps 140:3 : 3 They sharpen their tonges like a serpent, Adders poyson is vnder their lippes.
Jas 3:6 : 6 and the tonge is fyre, and a worlde of wyckednes. So is the tonge set amonge oure membres, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth a fyre all that we haue of nature, and is it selfe set a fyre euen of hell.
Eccl 10:11 : 11 A babler of his tonge is no better, then a serpent that styngeth without hyssynge.
Ps 64:3-4 : 3 Which whette their tuges like a swerde, & shute wt their venimous wordes like as wt arowes. 4 That they maye preuely hurte ye innocet, & sodely to hit him wt out eny feare.
Ps 55:21 : 21 O cast thy burthen (or care) vpon the LORDE, he shal norish the, and not leaue the rightuous in vnquietnesse.
Ps 57:4 : 4 Sela. This shal God sende, for his mercy and faithfulnesse sake. I lye with my soule amonge the cruell lyons:
Ps 58:4 : 4 They are as furious as the serpent, euen like the deaf Adder that stoppeth hir eares.
Ps 59:7 : 7 Beholde, they speake (agaynst me) wt their mouth, swerdes are vnder their lippes, for who reproueth the?
Deut 32:33 : 33 Their wyne is the poyson of Dragons, & the furious gall of Adders.
Rev 12:9 : 9 And the greate dragon that olde serpent (called the deuell and Sathanas) was cast out. Which disceaued all the worlde. And he was cast in to the earth, and his angelles were cast out with him also.
