Verse 9

And he beganne to tell the people this symilitude: A certayne man planted a vynyarde, and let it out vnto hussbadmen, and wente himself in to a straunge countre for a greate season.

This was the LORDES doynge, & it is maruelous i oure eyes 43 Therfore I saie vnto you: The kingdome of God shalbe take fro you, & shalbe geue vnto the Heithe, which shal brynge forth ye frutes of it. 44 And who so falleth vpo this stone, shalbe broke in peces: & loke vpo whom it falleth, it shal grynde him to poulder. 45 And when the hye prestes & Pharises herde his parables, they perceaued, that he spake of them. 46 And they wente aboute to take him, but they feared ye people, because they helde hi for a prophet.
Mark 12:1-9 : 1 And he beganne to speake vnto them by parables: A certayne ma planted a vynyarde, and made a hedge aboute it, and dygged a wynne presse, and buylded a tower, and let it out vnto hussbande men, and wente in to a straunge countre. 2 And whan the tyme was come, he sent a seruaut to the hussbande men, that he might receaue of the hussbandmen, of the frute of the vynyarde. 3 But they toke him, and bet him, and sent him awaye emptye. 4 Agayne, he sent vnto them another seruaunt, whom they stoned, and brake his heade, and sent him awaye shamefully dealt withall. 5 Agayne he sent another, whom they slew, and many other: some they bett, and some they put to death. 6 Then had he yet one sonne onely, whom he loued, him he sent also vnto them at the last, and sayde: they wyl stonde in awe of my sonne. 7 But the same hussbandmen sayde amonge them selues: This is the heyre, Come, let vs kyll him, so shal the inheritaunce be ours. 8 And they toke him, and slewe him, and cast him out of the vynyarde. 9 What shal now the lorde of the vynyarde do? He shal come and destroye the hussbande men, and geue the vynyarde vnto other. 10 Haue ye not red this scripture: The same stone which the buylders refused, is become the headstone in the corner? 11 This was the LORDES doynge, and it is maruelous in oure eyes. 12 And they wente aboute to take him (but they feared the people) for they perceaued, that he had spoke this parable agaynst the. Song 8:11-12 : 11 Salomon had a vynyarde at Baal Hamon, this vynyarde delyuered he vnto the kepers: yt euery one for the frute therof shulde geue him a thousande peces of syluer. 12 But my vynyarde (o Salomon) geueth the a thousande, and two hundreth to ye kepers of the frute.
Isa 5:1-7 : 1 Now well than, I will synge my beloued frende a songe of his vynyearde. I wil also forbyd ye cloudes, that they shal not rayne vpon it. 7 As for the vynyarde of the LORDE of hoostes it is the house of Israel, and whole Iuda his fayre plantinge. Of these he loked for equyte, but se there is wronge: for rightuousnesse, lo, It is but misery.
Jer 2:21 : 21 where as I planted the out of noble grapes and good rotes. How art thou turned then into a bytter, vnfrutefull, and straunge grape?

John 15:1-8 : 1 I am a true vyne, and my father is an hussbande man. 2 Euery braunch that bringeth not forth frute in me, shal he cut of: and euery one that bryngeth forth frute, shal he pourge, yt it maye bringe forth more frute. 3 Now are ye cleane, because of the worde, that I haue spoke vnto you. 4 Byde ye in me, and I in you. Like as ye braunch can not brynge forth frute of it self excepte it byde in the vyne, Euen so nether ye also, excepte ye abyde in me. 5 I am the vyne, ye are the braunches. He that abydeth in me, and I in him, the same bryngeth forth moch frute: for without me can ye do nothinge. 6 He that abydeth not in me, is cast out as a vyne braunche, and it wythereth, and men gather it vp, and cast it in to the fyre, and it burneth. 7 Yf ye abyde in me, and my wordes abyde in you, ye shal axe what ye wyl, & it shal be done vnto you. 8 Herin is my father praysed, that ye brynge forth moch frute, and become my disciples.
1 Cor 3:6-9 : 6 I haue planted, Apollo hath watred, but God hath geuen the increase. 7 So then nether is he that planteth, eny thinge, nether he that watreth, but God which geueth the increase. 8 As for him that planteth, and he that watreth, ye one is as the other: but yet shal euery one receaue his rewarde acordinge to his laboure. 9 For we are Gods labourers, ye are Gods hussbandry, ye are Gods buyldinge.
