Verse 18

Who so beareth false wytnesse agaynst his neghboure, he is a very speare, a swearde & a sharpe arowe.

Ps 57:4 : 4 Sela. This shal God sende, for his mercy and faithfulnesse sake. I lye with my soule amonge the cruell lyons:
Prov 12:18 : 18 A slaunderous personne pricketh like a swerde, but a wyse mans tonge is wholsome.
Jer 9:8 : 8 Their tunges are like sharpe arowes, to speake disceate. With their mouth they speake peaceably to their neghboure, but preuely they laye waite for him.
Jas 3:6 : 6 and the tonge is fyre, and a worlde of wyckednes. So is the tonge set amonge oure membres, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth a fyre all that we haue of nature, and is it selfe set a fyre euen of hell.
Prov 24:28 : 28 Be no false wytnesse agaynst yi neghbor, & hurte him not wt yi lyppes.
Jer 9:3 : 3 They bede their tuges like bowes, to shute out lies: As for the treuth, they maye nothinge awaye with all in the worlde. For they go from one wickednes to another, and holde nothinge of me, saieth the LORDE.
Ps 120:3-4 : 3 What rewarde shalbe geuen or done vnto the, thou false tonge? 4 Euen mightie & sharpe arowes, wt hote burnige coales.
Ps 140:3 : 3 They sharpen their tonges like a serpent, Adders poyson is vnder their lippes.
Ps 52:2 : 2 Where as the goodnesse of God endureth yet daylie.
Ps 55:21 : 21 O cast thy burthen (or care) vpon the LORDE, he shal norish the, and not leaue the rightuous in vnquietnesse.
