    7Da sprach Isaak zu Abraham, seinem Vater: Mein Vater! Und er sagte: Hier bin ich, mein Sohn. Und er sagte: Siehe, das Feuer und das Holz sind da, aber wo ist das Lamm für das Brandopfer?

    8Und Abraham sagte: Mein Sohn, Gott wird sich selbst ein Lamm für das Brandopfer ersehen. Und so gingen beide zusammen weiter.

    9Als sie an den Ort kamen, den Gott ihm genannt hatte, baute Abraham dort einen Altar, legte das Holz darauf, band Isaak, seinen Sohn, und legte ihn auf den Altar auf das Holz.

    10Und Abraham streckte seine Hand aus und nahm das Messer, um seinen Sohn zu schlachten.

    11Da rief ihm der Engel des HERRN vom Himmel zu und sagte: Abraham, Abraham! Und er antwortete: Hier bin ich.
