23 Moreover I sware unto them in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the nations, and disperse them through the countries;

18 And I said unto their children in the wilderness, Walk ye not in the statutes of your fathers, neither observe their ordinances, nor defile yourselves with their idols.
35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see the good land, which I sware to give unto your fathers,

6 They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek Jehovah; but they shall not find him: he hath withdrawn himself from them.
30 For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have done only that which was evil in my sight from their youth; for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, saith Jehovah.
19 But I say, Did Israel not know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation, With a nation void of understanding will I anger you.
17 My God will cast them away, because they did not hearken unto him; and they shall be wanderers among the nations.
23 and I will take away my hand, and thou shalt see my back; but my face shall not be seen.
37 For their heart was not right with him, Neither were they faithful in his covenant.
4 For thou hast hid their heart from understanding: Therefore shalt thou not exalt [them] .
13 And Jehovah's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander to and fro in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of Jehovah, was consumed.
20 then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my sight, and I will make it a proverb and a byword among all peoples.
30 If his children forsake my law, And walk not in mine ordinances;
27 Because they turned aside from following him, And would not have regard in any of his ways:
11 He saith in his heart, God hath forgotten; He hideth his face; he will never see it.
