  • 9 Thus saith Jehovah, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.

  • 18 And the word of Jehovah of hosts came unto me, saying,

  • 15 For, behold, I have made thee small among the nations, and despised among men.

  • 8 Therefore wait ye for me, saith Jehovah, until the day that I rise up to the prey; for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger; for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.

  • 12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that, when the Lord hath performed his whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.

  • 9 The women of my people ye cast out from their pleasant houses; from their young children ye take away my glory for ever.

  • 8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen; because their tongue and their doings are against Jehovah, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
