Moses gathered the entire assembly of the Israelites and said to them, "These are the things that the LORD has commanded you to do."

Seks dager skal arbeid bli gjort, men den syvende dagen skal være en hellig sabbat med fullstendig hvile for Herren. Enhver som gjør arbeid på denne dagen skal dø.

Work is to be done for six days, but the seventh day will be holy to you, a Sabbath of complete rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it must be put to death.

Dere skal ikke tenne ild i noen av deres boliger på sabbatsdagen.

You shall not kindle a fire in any of your homes on the Sabbath day.

Moses sa til hele Israels menighet: Dette er ordet som Herren har befalt.

Moses said to the entire congregation of the Israelites, "This is what the LORD has commanded.

Ta fra dere selv en gave til Herren. Alle som er villige i sitt hjerte skal bringe den som en gave til Herren: gull, sølv og bronse.

Take a contribution for the LORD from what you have. Let everyone whose heart is willing bring the LORD's offering: gold, silver, and bronze.

All the skilled workers among you must come and make everything that the LORD has commanded:

He has filled him with the Spirit of God, granting him wisdom, understanding, knowledge, and skill in all kinds of crafts.
