Then the Lord said to me, "Go again and love a woman who is loved by another man and is an adulteress, just as the Lord loves the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods and love raisin cakes."

So I bought her for fifteen pieces of silver, a homer of barley, and a lethech of barley.

And I said to her, "You must stay with me for many days. You shall not engage in prostitution or belong to another man, and I will also remain loyal to you."

For i mange dager skal Israels barn være uten konge og uten høvding, uten offer og uten minnestein, uten efod og husguder.

For the children of Israel will live many days without a king or prince, without sacrifice or sacred pillar, and without ephod or household idols.

Deretter skal Israels barn vende tilbake og søke Herren sin Gud og David, sin konge, og de skal komme skjelvende til Herren og til hans godhet i de siste dager.

Afterward the children of Israel will return and seek the Lord their God and David their king. They will come in awe to the Lord and to His goodness in the latter days.
