16And we haue knowen and beleued the loue that God hath to vs. God is loue, and he that dwelleth in loue, dwelleth in God, and God in hym.
17Herein is the loue perfect in vs, that we shoulde haue boldnesse in the day of iudgement: For as he is, euen so are we in this worlde.
2For the truthes sake which dwelleth in vs, and shalbe in vs for euer:
3Grace be with you, mercie, and peace from God the father, & from the Lorde Iesus Christe the sonne of the father, in trueth and loue.
4I reioyced greatly, that I founde of thy chyldren walkyng in trueth, as we haue receaued a commaundement of the father.
5And nowe beseche I thee Lady, not as though I wrote a newe commaundement vnto thee: but that same which we haue had from the begynnyng, that we shoulde loue one another.
6And this is the loue, that we shoulde walke after his comaundement. This commaundement is, that as ye haue hearde from the begynnyng, ye shoulde walke in it.
13Nowe come I to thee, and these wordes speake I in the worlde, that they myght haue my ioy fulfylled in them seues.
8Whom ye haue not seene, and yet loue hym, in whom euen nowe though ye see hym not, yet do you beleue, & reioyce with ioy vnspeakeable and glorious:
13These thynges haue I written vnto you that beleue on ye name of the sonne of God, that ye may knowe howe that ye haue eternall lyfe, and that ye may beleue on the name of the sonne of God.
8Agayne, a newe commaundement I write vnto you, that is true in hym, and the same is true also in you: For the darkenesse is past, and the true lyght nowe shyneth.
1My litle chyldren, these thynges write I vnto you, that ye sinne not. And yf any man sinne, we haue an aduocate with the father, Iesus Christe the ryghteous.
20Yes, ye are our glorie and ioy.

7For we haue great ioy & consolation in thy loue, because the bowels of the saintes are refresshed by thee, brother.
14And the same word became fleshe, and dwelt among vs ( and we sawe the glory of it, as the glory of the only begotten sonne of the father) full of grace and trueth.
13Hereby knowe we that we dwell in hym, & he in vs: because he hath geuen vs of his spirite.
19Hereby we knowe that we are of the trueth, and shall assure our heartes before hym.
5For our Gospell came not vnto you in worde only, but also in power, and in the holy ghost, and in much certayntie, as ye knowe after what maner we were among you for your sake.

4Which comforted vs in all our tribulation, insomuch that we are able to comfort them which are in any maner trouble, with the comfort wherwith we our selues are comforted of God.
5That in all thynges ye are made riche in hym, in all vtteraunce, & in all knowledge:
6As the testimonie of Iesus Christ was confirmed in you.
4In it was lyfe, and the lyfe was the lyght of men,
28And nowe babes abide in him, that when he shal appeare, we may be bolde and not be made ashamed of hym at his commyng.
6In the which ye reioyce, though nowe for a season (yf nede require) ye are in heauinesse through manifolde temptations:
13But reioyce, in as much as ye are partakers of Christes passions: that when his glory appeareth, ye maye be mery and glad.
1Furthermore we besech you brethren, & exhorte you by the Lorde Iesus, that ye encrease more and more, as ye haue receaued of vs, how ye ought to walke and to please God.
2Fulfyl ye my ioy, that ye be lyke mynded, hauyng the same loue, being of one accorde, of one mynde,
