29He that hath ye bride, is the bridegrome. But the friende of the brydegrome, which standeth & heareth him, reioyceth greatly because of ye brydegromes voyce. This my ioy therfore is fulfylled.

30But they that were scribes and pharisees among them, murmured agaynst his disciples saying: Why do ye eate and drynke with publicanes and sinners?
31And Iesus aunswered, and saide vnto them, They that are whole, neede not the phisition: But they that are sicke.

17And say: We haue pyped vnto you, and ye haue not daunsed: we haue mourned vnto you, and ye haue not sorowed.
18For Iohn came neither eatyng nor drinking, and they say, he hath the deuil.
19The sonne of man came eatyng and drinking, and they say, behold a glutton and an vnmeasurable drinker of wine, and a friende vnto publicans & sinners: And wisdome is iustified of her children.
10And whyle they went to bye, the brydegome came: and they that were redy, went in with hym, to ye maryage, and the gate was shut vp.
16And when the scribes and pharisees sawe hym eate with publicanes and sinners, they saide vnto his disciples: howe is it that he eateth and drynketh with publicanes and synners?
2And Iesus was called, and his disciples vnto the mariage.
10His disciples say vnto hym: If the matter be so betwene man and wyfe, then is it not good to mary.

8And he sayth vnto them: drawe out nowe, and beare vnto the gouernour of feast. And they bare it.
9When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wyne, and knewe not whence it was (but the ministers which drewe the water knewe) the gouernour of the feast calleth the brydegrome:
11Then the kyng came in, to see the ghestes: and whe he spyed there a man, which had not on a weddyng garmet,
12He sayde vnto hym: frende, howe camest thou in hyther, not hauyng a weddyng garment? And he was euen speachlesse.
36And ye your selues like vnto men, that wayte for their Lorde, when he wyll returne from the weddyng, that when he commeth, and knocketh, they maye open vnto hym immediatly.
3And Iesus aunswered them, & sayde: Haue ye not read what Dauid dyd, when he hym selfe was an hungred, and they which were with hym:
8Then sayde he to his seruauntes, the mariage in dede is prepared: But they which were bidden, were not worthy.
