12 They haue denied the LORDE, and sayde: it is not he. Tush, there shall no mi?fortune come vpon vs, we shall se nether swearde ner honger.
13 But yf a man call vpon God, doth not he heare him? Doth not the Almightie accepte his crie?
14 Wha thou speakest then, shulde not he pardon the, yff thou open thyself before him, and put thy trust in him?
15 Wo be vnto them that seke so depe, to hyde their ymaginacion before the LORDE, which rehearce their coucels in ye darknes, and saye: who seith vs, or who knoweth vs?
5 Recompense them after ye workes of their hodes, paye them that they haue deserued.
16 The countenaunce of the LORDE hath banyshed them, & shal neuer loke more vpon them: For they them selues nether regarded the prestes, nor pitied their elders.
28 herof are they fat and welthy, and are runne awaye fro me with shamefull blasphemies. They ministre not the lawe, they make no ende of the fatherlesses cause, they iudge not the poore acordinge to equite.
29 Shulde I not punysh these thinges, saieth the LORDE? Shulde I not be avenged of all soch people, as these be?
7 The righteous considreth the cause of the poore, but the vngodly regardeth no vnderstondynge.
4 How ca they haue vnderstondinge, that are the workers of wickednes, eatinge vp my people as it were bred, & call not vpon God?
10 But the vngodly (though he haue recaued grace) yet lerneth he not rightuousnesse, but in that place where he is punished, he offendeth, & feareth not the glory of the LORDE.
11 LORDE, they wil not se thine hie honde, but they shal se it, and be confounded: whe thou shalt deuoure them with the wrath of the people, and with the fyre of thine enemies.

18 Lest ye LORDE (when he seyth it) be angrie, & turne his wrath from him vnto the.

17 And yet the children off thy people saye: Tush, the waye of the LORDE is not right, where as their owne waye is rather vnright.
24 Who suffred Iacob to be trodden vnder fote, and Israel to be spoyled? dyd not the LORDE? Now haue we synned agaynst him, and haue had no delite to walke in his wayes, nether bene obedient vnto his lawe.

12 But they knowe not the thoughtes off the LORDE, they vnderstonde not his councell, that shall gather them together as the sheeues in the barne.
17 He turneth him vnto the prayer of the poore destitute, and despyseth not their desyre.
2 They cosidre not in their hertes, that I remebre all their wickednes. They go aboute wt their owne ynuencios, but I se them wel ynough.

6 Therfore shal God cleane destroyethe, smyte the in peces, plucke the out of thy dwellinge, and rote the out of the londe of the lyuinge.
