4So I answered, & spake to the angel yt talked with me, sayenge: O my lorde what are these?

12Then the LORDES angel gaue answere and sayde: O LORDE of hoostes, how longe wilt thou be vnmercifull to Ierusale and to the cities of Iuda, with whom thou hast bene displeased now these lxx. yeares?
13So the LORDE gaue a louynge and a confortable answere, vnto the angel that talked with me.
5The angel answered, & sayde vnto me: These are the iiij. wyndes of the heauen, which be come forth to stode before the ruler of all ye earth.
6That with the blacke horse wente in to the londe of the north, & the whyte folowed the, and the sprekled horses wente forth towarde the south.
7These horses were very stronge, & wente out: and sought to go and take their iourney ouer the whole earth. And he sayde: get you hence, and go thorow the worlde. So they wete thorow out the worlde.
8Then cried he vpon me, and spake vnto me, sayenge: Beholde, these that go towarde ye north, shal still my wrath in the north countre.
9And the worde of the LORDE came vnto me, sayenge:
11Then answered I, & sayde vnto him: What are these two olyue trees vpon the right and left syde of the candilsticke?
12I spake morouer, & sayde vnto him: what be these ij. olyue braunches which (thorow ye two golden pipes) emptie them selues into the golde?
13He answered me, & sayde: knowest thou not, what these be? And I sayde: No, my lorde.
14Then sayde he: These are the two olyue braunches, that stonde before the ruler of the whole earth.
1Morouer I turned me, liftynge vp myne eyes, & loked: & beholde, there came iiij. charettes out fro betwixte two hilles, which hilles were of brasse:
2In the first charet were reade horse, In the secode charet were blacke horse,
3In ye thirde charet were whyte horse, In ye fourth charet were horses of dyuerse colours, & stronge.
18Then lift I vp myne eyes and sawe, and beholde, foure hornes.
19And I sayde vnto the angel, that talked with me: what be these? he answered me: These are ye hornes, which haue scatred Iuda, Israel and Ierusalem abrode.
20And ye LORDE shewed me iiij. carpenters.
5The the angel that talked with me, wente forth, & sayde vnto me: lift vp thine eyes & se, what this is yt goeth forth.
6And I sayde: what is it? He answered: this is a measure goinge out. He sayde morouer: Euen thus are they (yt dwell vpon the whole earth) to loke vpon.
10Then spake I to the angel, yt talked wt me: whyther wil these beare the measure?
1And ye angel that talked with me, came agayne, & waked me vp (as a man that is raysed out of his slepe)
2& sayde vnto me: What seist thou? And I sayde: I haue loked, and beholde: a candelsticke all of golde, with a boll vpon it & his vij. lampes therin, & vpon euery lampe vij. stalkes:
20I answered them, the worde off the LORDE came vnto me, sayege:
16till I gat me vnto one off them that stode by, to knowe the treuth, concerninge all these thinges. So he tolde me, and made me vnderstode the interpretacio of these thinges.
2Then saide I: whether goest thou? And he sayde vnto me: To measure Ierusalem, that I maye se how longe and how brode it is.
3And beholde, the angel that talked wt me, wente his waye forth. Then wete there out another angel to mete him,
13And one of the elders answered, sayenge vnto me: what are these which are arayed in longe whyte garmetes, and whence cam they?
14And I sayde vnto him: LORDE thou wotest. And he sayde vnto me: these are they which cam out of gret tribulacion, and made their garmentes large, and made the whyte in the bloude of the lambe:
8I herde it well, but I vnderstode it not. Then sayde I: O my lorde, what shal happen after that?
16Beholde, there touched my lippes one, very like vnto a man. Then opened I my mouth, and sayde vnto him, that stode before me: O my lorde, my ioyntes are lowsed in the vision, and there is no more stregth within me:
5and as it were the licknesse of foure beastes, which were fashioned like a man: sauynge,
6I herde one speakinge vnto me out of the house, and there stode one by me,
13And the sixte angel blewe, and I herde a voyce from the foure corners of the golden aultre which is before God,
16Then stode there one before me, whose face I knewe not: an ymage there was, and the wether was still, so that I herde this voyce:
1And I sawe when the labe opened one of the seales, & I herde one of the foure beestes saye, as it wer the noyse off thonder: come and se.
6And he sayde vnto me: these sayenges are faithfull, and true. And the LORDE God of the holy prophetes sent his angell to shewe vnto his seruantes, the thinges which muste shortly be fulfylled.
6for thus the LORDE hath charged me: go thy waye, and set a watchma, that he maye tell what he seyth.
13And I herde him call ye wheles, Galgal (that is) a rounde boull.
6And before the seate there was a see of glasse like vnto crystall, and in the mydes off the seate, and rounde aboute the seate, were foure beastes full of eyes before and behynde.
4Then came the worde of the LORDE of hoostes vnto me, sayenge:
8After this I herde the voyce of the LORDE takinge advysement on this maner: Whom shall I sende, and who wilbe oure messaunger? The I sayde: here am I, sende me.
7And when he opened the fourth seale, I herde the voyce of the fourthe beaste saye: come and se.
