10 On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, and Abagtha, Zethar, and Carcas, the seven chamberlains that served in the prence of Ahasuerus the king,
11 To bring Vashti the queen before the king with the crown royal, to shew the people and the princ her beauty: for she was fair to look on.
8 Also he gave him the copy of the writing of the decree that was given at Shushan to dtroy them, to shew it unto ther, and to declare it unto her, and to charge her that she should go in unto the king, to make supplication unto him, and to make requt before him for her people.
9 And Hatach came and told ther the words of Mordecai.

19 If it please the king, let there go a royal commandment from him, and let it be written among the laws of the Persians and the Med, that it be not altered, That Vashti come no more before king Ahasuerus; and let the king give her royal tate unto another that is better than she.
20 And when the king's decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all the wiv shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.
4 Then the king held out the golden sceptre toward ther. So ther arose, and stood before the king,
14 And while they were yet talking with him, came the king's chamberlains, and hasted to bring Haman unto the banquet that ther had prepared.
8 Then the king returned out of the palace garden into the place of the banquet of wine; and Haman was fallen upon the bed whereon ther was. Then said the king, Will he force the queen also before me in the house? As the word went out of the king's mouth, they covered Haman's face.

15 What shall we do unto the queen Vashti according to law, because she hath not performed the commandment of the king Ahasuerus by the chamberlains?

32 And the decree of ther confirmed the matters of Purim; and it was written in the book.
29 Then ther the queen, the daughter of Abihail, and Mordecai the Jew, wrote with all authority, to confirm this second letter of Purim.
