Then Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashur, and Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashur the son of Malchiah, heard the words that emiah had spoken unto all the people, saying,

1The word which came unto emiah from the LORD, when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying,

9Why hast thou prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against emiah in the house of the LORD.
6Then went emiah unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land.
7Now when all the captains of the forces which were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon;
8Then they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men.

27Then came all the princes unto emiah, and asked him: and he told them according to all these words that the king had commanded. So they left off speaking with him; for the matter was not perceived.

29And Zephaniah the priest read this letter in the ears of emiah the prophet.
30Then came the word of the LORD unto emiah, saying,
23And when all the captains of the armies, they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah governor, there came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan the son of Careah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth the Netophathite, and Jaazaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men.
13And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the ward was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took emiah the prophet, saying, Thou fallest away to the Chaldeans.
11Likewise when all the Jews that were in Moab, and among the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that were in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan;
13Moreover Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were in the fields, came to Gedaliah to Mizpah,
24Then said Zedekiah unto emiah, Let no man know of these words, and thou shalt not die.
25But if the princes hear that I have talked with thee, and they come unto thee, and say unto thee, Declare unto us now what thou hast said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not put thee to death; also what the king said unto thee:
2The which emiah the prophet spake unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of usalem, saying,
3And it came to pass on the morrow, that Pashur brought forth emiah out of the stocks. Then said emiah unto him, The LORD hath not called thy name Pashur, but Magor-missabib.
1And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that this word came unto emiah from the LORD, saying,
17Then said emiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; If thou wilt assuredly go forth unto the king of Babylon's princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thine house:
6Even men, and women, and children, and the king's daughters, and every person that Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and emiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah.
4Then emiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of emiah all the words of the LORD, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.
8And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that emiah the prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the LORD in the LORD'S house.
3But Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, for to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.
3Then said emiah unto them, Thus shall ye say to Zedekiah:
8Then called he Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces which were with him, and all the people from the least even to the greatest,
1The word that came to emiah from the LORD, after that Nebuzar-adan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all that were carried away captive of usalem and Judah, which were carried away captive unto Babylon.
2And the captain of the guard took emiah, and said unto him, The LORD thy God hath pronounced this evil upon this place.
34Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,
17Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from the LORD? And emiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.
2Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of usalem;
1Now these are the words of the letter that emiah the prophet sent from usalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from usalem to Babylon;
8This is the word that came unto emiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at usalem, to proclaim liberty unto them;
26But the king commanded ahmeel the son of Hammelech, and Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and emiah the prophet: but the LORD hid them.
