And for to stand euery morning, to giue thanks & praise to the Lorde, & likewise at euen,

1 Chr 25:1-7 : 1 So Dauid and the captaines of the armie separated for the ministerie the sonnes of Asaph, and Heman, and Ieduthun, who should sing prophesies with harpes, with violes, and with cymbales, and their nomber was euen of the men for the office of their ministerie, to wit, 2 Of the sonnes of Asaph, Zaccur, and Ioseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah the sonnes of Asaph were vnder the hand of Asaph, which sang prophesies by the commission of the King. 3 Of Ieduthun, the sonnes of Ieduthun, Gedaliah, and Zeri, and Ieshaiah, Ashabiah and Mattithiah, six, vnder the hands of their father: Ieduthun sang prophecies with an harpe, for to giue thankes and to praise the Lorde. 4 Of Heman, the sonnes of Heman, Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Vzziel, Shebuel, and Ierimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, Ioshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth. 5 All these were the sonnes of Heman, the Kings Seer in the wordes of God to lift vp the horne: and God gaue to Heman fourtene sonnes and three daughters. 6 All these were vnder the hande of their father, singing in the house of the Lorde with cymbales, violes and harpes, for the seruice of the house of God, and Asaph, and Ieduthun, and Heman were at the Kings commandement. 7 So was their nomber with their brethre that were instruct in ye songs of the Lord, euen of al that were cunning, two hundreth foure score & eight.
2 Chr 29:25-28 : 25 He appointed also the Leuites in the house of the Lord with cymbales, with violes, and with harpes, according to the commaundement of Dauid, and Gad the Kings Seer, and Nathan the Prophet: for the commaundement was by the hande of the Lorde, and by the hande of his Prophets. 26 And the Leuites stood with the instrumets of Dauid, and the Priests with the trumpets. 27 And Hezekiah commaunded to offer the burnt offring vpon the altar: and when the burnt offring began, the song of the Lorde beganne with the trumpets, and the instruments of Dauid King of Israel. 28 And al the Congregation worshipped, singing a song, and they blew the trumpets: all this continued vntill the burnt offring was finished.
2 Chr 31:2 : 2 And Hezekiah appoynted the courses of the Priests and Leuites by their turnes, euery man according to his office, both Priestes and Leuites, for the burnt offring and peace offrings, to minister and to giue thankes, & to prayse in the gates of the tentes of the Lord.
Ezra 3:10-11 : 10 And when the builders layed the foundation of the Temple of the Lorde, they appoynted the Priestes in their apparel with trumpets, and the Leuites the sonnes of Asaph with cymbales, to prayse the Lord, after the ordinance of Dauid King of Israel. 11 Thus they sang when they gaue prayse, and when they gaue thankes vnto the Lorde, For he is good, for his mercie endureth for euer toward Israel; all the people shouted with a great shoute, when they praysed the Lorde, because the foundation of the house of the Lorde was layed.
Ps 92:1-3 : 1 A Psalme or song for the Sabbath day. It is a good thing to praise the Lord, and to sing vnto thy Name, O most High, 2 To declare thy louing kindenesse in the morning, and thy trueth in the night, 3 Vpon an instrument of tenne strings, and vpon the viole with the song vpon the harpe.
Ps 134:1-2 : 1 A song of degrees. Beholde, praise ye the Lorde, all ye seruants of the Lord, ye that by night stande in the house of the Lord. 2 Lift vp your hands to the Sanctuarie, and praise the Lord.
Ps 135:1-3 : 1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise the Name of the Lorde: ye seruants of the Lord, praise him. 2 Ye that stande in the House of the Lord, and in the courtes of the House of our God, 3 Praise ye the Lord: for the Lorde is good: sing praises vnto his Name: for it is a comely thing.
Ps 135:19-20 : 19 Praise the Lord, ye house of Israel: praise the Lord, ye house of Aaron. 20 Praise the Lorde, ye house of Leui: ye that feare the Lord, praise the Lord.
Ps 137:2-4 : 2 Wee hanged our harpes vpon the willowes in the middes thereof. 3 Then they that ledde vs captiues, required of vs songs and mirth, when wee had hanged vp our harpes, saying, Sing vs one of the songs of Zion. 4 Howe shall we sing, said we, a song of the Lord in a strange land?
Rev 5:8-9 : 8 And when he had taken ye Booke, ye foure beasts and the foure & twenty Elders fel downe before the Lambe, hauing euery one harps & golden vials full of odours, which are the praiers of the Saintes, 9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthie to take the Booke, and to open the seales thereof, because thou wast killed, and hast redeemed vs to God by thy blood out of euery kinred, and tongue, and people, and nation, 10 And hast made vs vnto our God Kings and Priests, and we shall reigne on the earth. 11 Then I behelde, & I heard the voice of many Angels round about the throne, & about the beastes and the Elders, & there were ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousand thousands, 12 Saying with a loude voice, Worthie is the Lambe that was killed to receiue power, & riches, & wisdome, & strength, & honour, & glory, and praise. 13 And al the creatures which are in heauen, and on the earth, and vnder the earth, and in the sea, and al that are in them, heard I, saying, Praise, & honour, and glory, and power be vnto him, that sitteth vpon the throne, and vnto the Lambe for euermore. 14 And the foure beasts said, Amen, & the foure and twentie Elders fell downe and worshipped him that liueth for euermore.
Rev 14:3 : 3 And they sung as it were a newe song before the throne, and before the foure beasts, and the Elders: and no man could learne that song, but the hundreth, fourtie and foure thousand, which were bought from the earth.
Exod 29:39-42 : 39 The one lambe thou shalt present in the morning, and the other lambe thou shalt present at euen. 40 And with the one lambe, a tenth part of fine floure mingled with the fourth part of an Hin of beaten oyle, and the fourth part of an Hin of wine, for a drinke offring. 41 And the other lambe thou shalt present at euen: thou shalt doe thereto according to the offring of the morning, and according to the drinke offring thereof, to be a burnt offring for a sweete sauour vnto, the Lorde. 42 This shalbe a continuall burnt offring in your generations at the doore of the Tabernacle of the Congregation before the Lord, where I wil make appoyntment with you, to speake there vnto thee.
1 Chr 6:31-33 : 31 And these be they whom Dauid set for to sing in the house of the Lord, after that the Arke had rest. 32 And they ministred before the Tabernacle, euen the Tabernacle of the Congregation with singing, vntill Salomon had built ye house of the Lord in Ierusalem: then they continued in their office, according to their custome. 33 And these ministred with their children: of the sonnes of Kohath, Heman a singer, the sonne of Ioel, the sonne of Shemuel,
