Verse 18

Beholde Israel, which is after the flesh: are not they which eate of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?

1 Cor 9:13 : 13 Doe ye not knowe, that they which minister about the holy things, eate of the things of the Temple? and they which waite at the altar, are partakers with the altar?
2 Cor 11:18-22 : 18 Seeing that many reioyce after the flesh, I will reioyce also. 19 For ye suffer fooles gladly, because that yee are wise. 20 For ye suffer, euen if a man bring you into bondage, if a man deuoure you, if a man take your goods, if a man exalt himselfe, if a man smite you on the face. 21 I speake as concerning the reproche: as though that we had bene weake: but wherein any ma is bold (I speake foolishly) I am bold also. 22 They are Hebrues, so am I: they are Israelites, so am I: they are the seede of Abraham, so am I:
Gal 6:16 : 16 And as many as walke according to this rule, peace shalbe vpon them, and mercie, and vpon the Israel of God.
Eph 2:11-12 : 11 Wherefore remember that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, and called vncircumcision of them, which are called circumcision in the flesh, made with hands, 12 That ye were, I say, at that time without Christ, and were alients from the common wealth of Israel, and were strangers from the couenants of promise, and had no hope, and were without God in the world.
Phil 3:3-5 : 3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirite, and reioyce in Christ Iesus, and haue no confidence in the flesh: 4 Though I might also haue confidence in the flesh. Lev 3:3-5 : 3 So he shall offer part of the peace offerings as a sacrifice made by fire vnto the Lorde, euen the fat that couereth the inwardes, and all the fat that is vpon the inwardes. 4 He shall also take away the two kidneis, & the fat that is on them, and vpon the flankes, and the kall on the liuer with the kidneis. 5 And Aarons sonnes shall burne it on the altar, with the burnt offering, which is vpon the wood, that is on the fire: this is a sacrifice made by fire for a sweete sauour vnto the Lorde.
Lev 3:11 : 11 Then the Priest shall burne it vpon the altar, as the meat of an offring made by fire vnto the Lord.
Lev 7:6 : 6 All the males among the Priestes shall eate thereof, it shalbe eaten in the holy place, for it is most holy.
Lev 7:11-17 : 11 Furthermore, this is the lawe of the peace offrings, which he shall offer vnto the Lorde. 12 If he offer it to giue thankes, then he shal offer for his thankes offering, vnleauened cakes mingled with oyle, and vnleauened wafers anointed with oyle, and fine floure fryed with the cakes mingled with oyle. 13 He shall offer also his offring with cakes of leauened bread, for his peace offrings, to giue thankes. 14 And of all the sacrifice he shall offer one cake for an heaue offering vnto the Lorde, and it shalbe the Priestes that sprinckleth the blood of the peace offrings. 15 Also the flesh of his peace offerings, for thankesgiuing, shalbe eaten the same day that it is offered: he shall leaue nothing thereof vntill the morning. 16 But if the sacrifice of his offring be a vow, or a free offering, it shalbe eaten the same day that he offreth his sacrifice: and so in the morning the residue thereof shalbe eaten. 17 But as much of the offered flesh as remaineth vnto the third day, shalbe burnt with fire.
1 Sam 2:13-16 : 13 For the Priestes custome towarde the people was this: when any man offered sacrifice, the Priestes boy came, while the flesh was seething, and a fleshhooke with three teeth, in his hand, 14 And thrust it into the kettle, or into the caldron, or into the panne, or into the potte: all that the fleshhooke brought vp, the Priest tooke for himselfe: thus they did vnto all the Israelites, that came thither to Shiloh. 15 Yea, before they burnt the fat, the priests boy came and saide to the man that offered, Giue me flesh to rost for the priest: for he wil not haue sodden flesh of thee, but rawe. 16 And if any man saide vnto him, Let them burne the fatte according to the custome, then take as much as thine heart desireth: then hee would answere, No, but thou shalt giue it nowe: and if thou wilt not, I will take it by force.
1 Sam 9:12-13 : 12 And they answered them, and said, Yea: loe, he is before you: make haste nowe, for he came this day to the citie: for there is an offering of the people this day in the hie place. 13 When ye shall come into the citie, ye shall finde him straightway yet he come vp to the hie place to eate: for the people will not eate vntill he come, because he will blesse the sacrifice: and then eate they that be bidden to the feast: nowe therefore goe vp: for euen now shall ye find him.
