Verse 20

For the kingdome of God is not in worde, but in power.

1 Cor 2:4 : 4 Neither stoode my woorde, and my preaching in the entising speech of mans wisdom, but in plaine euidence of the Spirite and of power,
2 Cor 10:4-5 : 4 (For the weapons of our warrefare are not carnall, but mightie through God, to cast downe holdes) 5 Casting downe the imaginations, and euery high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captiuitie euery thought to the obedience of Christ,
1 Thess 1:5 : 5 For our Gospell was not vnto you in worde only, but also in power, and in the holy Ghost, and in much assurance, as ye know after what maner we were among you for your sakes.
Rom 14:17 : 17 For the kingdome of God, is not meate nor drinke, but righteousnes, and peace, and ioye in the holy Ghost.
Rom 1:16 : 16 For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God vnto saluation to euery one that beleeueth, to the Iewe first, and also to the Grecian.
Rom 15:19 : 19 With the power of signes and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God: so that from Hierusalem, and round about vnto Illyricum, I haue caused to abound the Gospel of Christ.
1 Cor 1:24 : 24 But vnto them which are called, both of the Iewes and Grecians, we preach Christ, the power of God, and the wisedome of God.
