Verse 1

Nowe concerning the thinges whereof ye wrote vnto mee, It were good for a man not to touche a woman.

1 Cor 7:8 : 8 Therefore I say vnto the vnmaried, and vnto the widowes, It is good for them if they abide euen as I doe.
1 Cor 7:26-27 : 26 I suppose then this to bee good for the present necessitie: I meane that it is good for a man so to be. 27 Art thou bounde vnto a wife? Seeke not to be loosed: art thou loosed from a wife? Seeke not a wife.
1 Cor 7:37-38 : 37 Neuerthelesse, hee that standeth firme in his heart, that hee hath no neede, but hath power ouer his owne will, and hath so decreed in his heart, that hee will keepe his virgine, hee doeth well. 38 So then hee that giueth her to mariage, doeth wel, but he that giueth her not to mariage, doeth better.
Gen 20:6 : 6 And God saide vnto him by a dreame, I knowe that thou diddest this euen with an vpright minde, and I kept thee also that thou shouldest not sinne against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touche her.
Ruth 2:9 : 9 Let thine eyes be on the field that they do reape, and goe thou after the maidens. Haue I not charged the seruants, that they touche thee not? Moreouer whe thou art a thirst, go vnto ye vessels, and drinke of that which ye seruants haue drawen.
Prov 6:29 : 29 So he that goeth in to his neighbours wife, shall not be innocent, whosoeuer toucheth her.
Matt 19:10-11 : 10 Then sayd his disciples to him, If the matter be so betweene man and wife, it is not good to marry. 11 But he sayd vnto them, All men cannot receiue this thing, saue they to whom it is giuen.
