Verse 23

And so the Lord saued Israel that day: and the battell continued vnto Beth-auen.

1 Sam 13:5 : 5 The Philistims also gathered themselues together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand charets, and sixe thousande horsemen: for the people was like the sand which is by the seas side in multitude, and came vp, and pitched in Michmash Eastward from Beth-auen.
Exod 14:30 : 30 Thus the Lorde saued Israel the same day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel sawe the Egyptians dead vpon the Sea banke.
Judg 2:18 : 18 And when the Lorde had raysed them vp Iudges, the Lord was with the Iudge, & deliuered them out of the hande of their enemies all the dayes of the Iudge (for the Lord had compassio on their gronings, because of them that oppressed them and tormented them)
2 Kgs 14:27 : 27 Yet the Lord had not decreed to put out the name of Israel from vnder the heauen: therefore he preserued them by the hand of Ieroboam the sonne of Ioash.
Ps 44:6-8 : 6 For I do not trust in my bowe, neither can my sworde saue me. 7 But thou hast saued vs from our aduersaries, and hast put them to confusion that hate vs. 8 Therefore will wee praise God continually, and will confesse thy Name for euer. Selah.
Hos 1:7 : 7 Yet I will haue mercie vpon the house of Iudah, and wil saue them by the Lord their God, and wil not saue them by bow, nor by sword nor by battell, by horses, nor by horsemen.
