Verse 35

Then Saul made an altar vnto the Lorde, and that was the first altar that he made vnto the Lord.

1 Sam 7:17 : 17 Afterward hee returned to Ramah: for there was his house, and there he iudged Israel: also he built an altar there vnto the Lord.
Hos 8:14 : 14 For Israel hath forgotten his maker, and buildeth Temples, & Iudah hath increased strong cities: but I will sende a fire vpon his cities, and it shall deuoure the palaces thereof.
