Verse 17

Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not high minded, & that they trust not in vncertaine riches, but in the liuing God, (which giueth vs aboundatly, all things to enioy)

Jer 2:31 : 31 O generation, take heede to the worde of the Lorde: haue I bene as a wildernesse vnto Israel? or a lande of darkenesse? Wherefore sayeth my people then, We are lordes, we will come no more vnto thee?
