And Iehoiada made a couenant betweene him, and all the people, & the King, that they would be the Lords people.

Neh 10:29-39 : 29 The chiefe of them receiued it for their brethren, and they came to the curse and to the othe to walke in Gods Law, which was giuen by Moses the seruant of God, to obserue and doe all the commandements of the Lorde our God, and his iudgements and his statutes: 30 And that we would not giue our daughters to the people of the lande, neither take their daughters for our sonnes. 31 And if the people of the lande brought ware on the Sabbath, or any vitailes to sell, that we would not take it of them on the Sabbath and on the holy dayes: and that we would let the seuenth yeere be free, and the debtes of euery person. 32 And we made statutes for our selues to giue by the yeere the thirde part of a shekel for the seruice of the house of our God, 33 For the shewbread, and for the daily offring, & for the daily burnt offring, the Sabbaths, the newe moones, for the solemne feastes, and for the thinges that were sanctified, and for the sinne offrings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the worke of the house of our God. 34 We cast also lottes for the offering of the wood, euen the Priestes, the Leuites and the people to bring it into the house of our God, by the house of our fathers, yeerely at the times appointed, to burne it vpon the altar of the Lorde our God, as it is written in the Lawe, 35 And to bring the first fruites of our land, and the first of all the fruites of all trees, yeere by yeere, into the house of the Lorde, 36 And the first borne of our sonnes, and of our cattel, as it is written in the Lawe, and the first borne of our bullockes and of our sheepe, to bring it into the house of our God, vnto ye Priests that minister in the house of our God, 37 And that we should bring the first fruite of our dough, and our offrings, and the fruite of euery tree, of wine and of oyle, vnto the Priests, to the chambers of the house of our God: and the tithes of our lande vnto the Leuites, that the Leuites might haue the tithes in all the cities of our trauaile. 38 And the Priest, the sonne of Aaron shall be with the Leuites, when ye Leuites take tithes, and the Leuites shall bring vp the tenth parte of the tithes vnto the house of our God, vnto the chambers of the treasure house. 39 For the children of Israel, and the children of Leui shall bring vp the offerings of the corne, of the wine, and of the oyle, vnto the chabers: and there shalbe the vessels of the Sanctuarie, and the Priestes that minister, and the porters, and the fingers, and we will not forsake the house of our God.
Isa 44:5 : 5 One shall say, I am the Lordes: another shalbe called by the name of Iaakob: and another shall subscribe with his hand vnto the Lord, and name himselfe by the name of Israel.

Deut 5:2-3 : 2 The Lord our God made a couenant with vs in Horeb. 3 The Lorde made not this couenant with our fathers onely, but with vs, euen with vs all here aliue this day.
Deut 26:17-19 : 17 Thou hast set vp the Lorde this day to be thy God, and to walke in his wayes, and to keepe his ordinances, and his commandements, and his lawes, and to hearken vnto his voyce. 18 And the Lorde hath set thee vp this day, to be a precious people vnto him (as hee hath promised thee) and that thou shouldest keepe all his commandements, 19 And to make thee high aboue al nations (which he hath made) in praise, & in name, and in glory, & that thou shouldest be an holy people vnto the Lord thy God, as he hath said.
Deut 29:1-9 : 1 These are the wordes of the couenant which the Lorde commaunded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the lande of Moab beside the couenant which hee had made with them in Horeb. 2 And Moses called all Israel, and said vnto them, Ye haue seene all that the Lorde did before your eyes in the lande of Egypt vnto Pharaoh and vnto all his seruantes, and vnto all his lande, 3 The great tentations which thine eyes haue seene, those great miracles and wonders: 4 Yet the Lord hath not giuen you an heart to perceiue, and eyes to see, & eares to heare, vnto this day. 5 And I haue led you fourty yere in the wildernesse: your clothes are not waxed olde vpon you, neyther is thy shooe waxed olde vpon thy foote. 6 Ye haue eaten no bread, neither drunke wine, nor strong drinke, that ye might know how that I am the Lord your God. 7 After, ye came vnto this place, and Sihon King of Heshbon, and Og King of Bashan came out against vs vnto battell, and we slewe them, 8 And tooke their lande, and gaue it for an inheritance vnto the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the halfe tribe of Manasseh. 9 Keepe therefore the wordes of this couenant and doe them, that ye may prosper in all that ye shall doe. 10 Ye stand this day euery one of you before the Lord your God: your heads of your tribes, your Elders & your officers, eue al ye me of Israel: 11 Your children, your wiues, and thy stranger that is in thy campe from the hewer of thy wood, vnto the drawer of thy water, 12 That thou shouldest passe into the couenant of the Lord thy God, & into his othe which the Lord thy God maketh with thee this day, 13 For to establish thee this day a people vnto him selfe, and that he may be vnto thee a God, as he hath said vnto thee, and as he hath sworne vnto thy fathers, Abraham, Izhak, and Iaakob. 14 Neither make I this couenant, & this othe with you onely, 15 But aswel with him that standeth here with vs this day before the Lord our God, as with him that is not here with vs this day.
Josh 24:21-25 : 21 And the people saide vnto Ioshua, Nay, but we will serue the Lord. 22 And Ioshua saide vnto the people, Yee are witnesses against your selues, that yee haue chosen you the Lord, to serue him: and they sayd, We are witnesses. 23 Then put away nowe, saide he, the strange gods which are among you, and bowe your hearts vnto the Lord God of Israel. 24 And ye people saide vnto Ioshua, The Lord our God wil we serue, & his voyce wil we obey. 25 So Ioshua made a couenant with the people the same day, and gaue them an ordinance and lawe in Shechem.
