Verse 21

Then all the people of the land reioyced, & the citie was quiet, after that they had slaine Athaliah with the sword.

2 Kgs 11:20 : 20 And all the people of the land reioyced, & the citie was in quiet: for they had slaine Athaliah with the sworde beside the Kings house.
Ps 58:10-11 : 10 The righteous shall reioyce when he seeeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feete in the blood of the wicked. 11 And men shall say, Verily there is fruite for the righteous: doutlesse there is a God that iudgeth in the earth.
Prov 11:10 : 10 In the prosperitie of the righteous the citie reioyceth, and when the wicked perish, there is ioye.
Rev 18:20 : 20 O heauen, reioyce of her, and ye holy Apostles and Prophets: for God hath punished her to be reuenged on her for your sakes.
Rev 19:1-4 : 1 And after these things I heard a great voyce of a great multitude in heauen, saying, Hallelu-iah, saluation, and glorie, and honour, and power be to the Lord our God. 2 For true and righteous are his iudgements: for he hath condemned that great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath auenged the blood of his seruants shed by her hand. 3 And againe they saide, Hallelu-iah: and that her smoke rose vp for euermore. 4 And the foure & twentie Elders, and the foure beastes fell downe, and worshipped God that sate on the throne, saying, Amen, Hallelu-iah.
