Verse 27

Howe are the mightie ouerthrowen, and the weapons of warre destroyed!

2 Sam 1:25 : 25 Howe were the mightie slaine in the mids of the battel! O Ionathan, thou wast slaine in thine hie places.
2 Sam 1:19 : 19 O noble Israel, hee is slane vpon thy hie places: how are the mightie ouerthrowen!
2 Kgs 2:12 : 12 And Elisha saw it, and he cryed, My father, my father, the charet of Israel, and the horsemen thereof: and he sawe him no more: and he tooke his owne clothes, and rent them in two pieces.
2 Kgs 13:14 : 14 When Elisha fell sicke of his sickenesse whereof he dyed, Ioash the King of Israel came downe vnto him, and wept vpon his face, and sayd, O my father, my father, the charet of Israel, and the horsemen of the same.
Ps 46:9 : 9 He maketh warres to cease vnto the endes of the world: he breaketh the bowe and cutteth the speare, and burneth the chariots with fire.
Ezek 39:9-9 : 9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel, shall goe forth, and shall burne and set fire vpon the weapons, and on the shieldes, and bucklers, vpon the bowes, and vpon the arrowes, and vpon the staues in their handes, and vpon the speares, and they shall burne them with fire seuen yeeres. 10 So that they shall bring no wood out of the fielde, neither cut downe any out of the forestes: for they shall burne the weapons with fire, and they shall robbe those that robbed them, and spoyle those that spoyled them, sayeth the Lorde God.
