Verse 27

And Absalom had three sonnes, and one daughter named Tamar, which was a fayre woman to looke vpon.

2 Sam 18:18 : 18 Nowe Absalom in his life time had taken and reared him vp a pillar, which is in the kings dale: for he saide, I haue no sonne to keepe my name in remembrance; he called the pillar after his owne name, & it is called vnto this day, Absaloms place.
2 Sam 13:1 : 1 Now after this so it was, that Absalom the sonne of Dauid hauing a fayre sister, whose name was Tamar, Amnon the sonne of Dauid loued her.
Job 18:16-19 : 16 His rootes shalbe dryed vp beneath, and aboue shall his branche be cut downe. 17 His remembrance shall perish from the earth, and he shall haue no name in the streete. 18 They shall driue him out of the light vnto darkenesse, and chase him out of the world. 19 Hee shall neither haue sonne nor nephewe among his people, nor any posteritie in his dwellings.
Isa 14:22 : 22 For I wil rise vp against them (sayth the Lorde of hostes) and will cut off from Babel the name and the remnant and the sonne, and the nephew, sayth the Lord:
Jer 22:30 : 30 Thus saith the Lorde, Write this man destitute of children, a man that shall not prosper in his dayes: for there shall be no man of his seede that shall prosper & sit vpon the throne of Dauid, or beare rule any more in Iudah.
