Verse 35

And when hee came vnto the grieces, it was so that he was borne of the souldiers, for the violence of the people.

Gen 6:11-12 : 11 The earth also was corrupt before God: for the earth was filled with crueltie. 12 Then God looked vpon the earth, and beholde, it was corrupt: for all flesh had corrupt his way vpon the earth.
Ps 55:9 : 9 Destroy, O Lord, and deuide their tongues: for I haue seene crueltie and strife in the citie.
Ps 58:2 : 2 Yea, rather ye imagine mischiefe in your heart: your hands execute crueltie vpon the earth.
Jer 23:10 : 10 For the lande is full of adulterers, and because of othes the lande mourneth, the pleasant places of the wildernesse are dried vp, and their course is euill, and their force is not right.
Hab 1:2-3 : 2 O Lorde, howe long shall I crye, and thou wilt not heare! euen crye out vnto thee for violence, and thou wilt not helpe! 3 Why doest thou shewe mee iniquitie, and cause me to beholde sorowe? for spoyling, and violence are before me: and there are that rayse vp strife and contention.
