Verse 18

And when Simon sawe, that through laying on of the Apostles hands the holy Ghost was giuen, he offred them money,

2 Kgs 5:15-16 : 15 And hee turned againe to the man of God, hee, and all his companie, and came and stood before him, and sayd, Behold, now I knowe that there is no God in all the world, but in Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a reward of thy seruant. 16 But hee sayde, As the Lorde liueth (before whom I stand) I wil not receiue it; he would haue costrained him to receiue it, but he refused.
2 Kgs 8:9 : 9 So Hazael went to meete him, and tooke the present in his hand, and of euery good thing of Damascus, euen the burden of fourtie camels, and came and stood before him, and sayde, Thy sonne Ben-hadad King of Aram hath sent me to thee, saying, Shall I recouer of this disease?
Ezek 13:19 : 19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barly, and for pieces of bread to slay the soules of them that shoulde not dye, and to giue life to the soules that should not liue in lying to my people, that heare your lies?
