Verse 27

Tekel, thou art wayed in the balance, and art found too light.

Ps 62:9 : 9 Yet the children of men are vanitie, the chiefe men are lies: to lay them vpon a balance they are altogether lighter then vanitie.
Job 31:6 : 6 Let God weigh me in the iust balance, and he shal know mine vprightnes.
Jer 6:30 : 30 They shall call them reprobate siluer, because the Lord hath reiected them.
Ezek 22:18-20 : 18 Sonne of man, the house of Israel is vnto me as drosse: all they are brasse, and tinne, and yron, and leade in the mids of the fornace: they are euen the drosse of siluer. 19 Therefore, thus sayth the Lorde God, Because ye are all as drosse, beholde, therefore I will gather you in the middes of Ierusalem. 20 As they gather siluer and brasse, and yron, and leade, and tinne into the middes of the fornace, to blowe the fire vpon it to melt it, so wil I gather you in mine anger and in my wrath, and wil put you there and melt you.
Matt 22:11-12 : 11 Then the King came in, to see the ghestes, and sawe there a man which had not on a wedding garment. 12 And he sayd vnto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither, and hast not on a wedding garment? And he was speachlesse.
1 Cor 3:13 : 13 Euery mans worke shalbe made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shalbe reueiled by the fire: and the fire shall trie euery mans worke of what sort it is.
