O Lorde, according to all thy righteousnes, I beseech thee, let thine anger and thy wrath be turned away from thy citie Ierusalem thine holy Mountaine: for because of our sinnes, & for the iniquities of our fathers, Ierusalem and thy people are a reproche to all that are about vs.

Praise yee the Lord.
Ps 143:1 : 1 A Psalme of Dauid. Heare my prayer, O Lorde, and hearken vnto my supplication: answere me in thy trueth and in thy righteousnes.
Isa 64:9-9 : 9 Be not angry, O Lorde, aboue measure, neither remember iniquitie for euer: lo, we beseech thee beholde, we are all thy people. 10 Thine holy cities lye waste: Zion is a wildernes, and Ierusalem a desart. 11 The House of our Sanctuarie & of our glorie, where our fathers praysed thee, is burnt vp with fire and all our pleasant things are wasted.
Jer 24:9 : 9 I will euen giue them for a terrible plague to all the kingdomes of the earth, and for a reproche, and for a prouerbe, for a common talke, and for a curse, in all places where I shall cast them.
