Then I called the Priestes, and caused them to sweare, that they shoulde doe according to this promes. 13 So I shooke my lappe, and said, So let God shake out euery man that wil not perfourme this promise from his house, & from his labour: euen thus let him be shaken out, & emptied; all the Cogregation said, Amen, & praised the Lord: and the people did according to this promes.
Ps 106:30-33 : 30 But Phinehas stoode vp, and executed iudgement, and the plague was staied. 31 And it was imputed vnto him for righteousnes from generation to generation for euer. 32 They angred him also at the waters of Meribah, so that Moses was punished for their sakes, 33 Because they vexed his spirite, so that hee spake vnaduisedly with his lippes.
Exod 11:8 : 8 And all these thy seruants shall come downe vnto me, and fal before me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that are at thy feete, and after this will I depart. So he went out from Pharaoh very angry.

Num 20:24 : 24 Aaron shall be gathered vnto his people: for hee shall not enter into the lande, which I haue giuen vnto the children of Israel, because ye disobeyed my commaundement at the water of Meribah.
Num 25:7-9 : 7 And when Phinehas the sonne of Eleazar the sonne of Aaron the Priest sawe it, hee rose vp from the middes of the Congregation, & tooke a speare in his hand, 8 And followed ye man of Israel into the tent, and thrust them both through: to wit, the man of Israel, and the woman, through her belly: so the plague ceased from the children of Israel. 9 And there died in that plague, foure and twentie thousand. 10 Then the Lord spake vnto Moses, saying, 11 Phinehas the sonne of Eleazar, the sonne of Aaron the Priest, hath turned mine anger away from the children of Israel, while hee was zealous for my sake among them: therefore I haue not consumed the children of Israel in my ielousie.
Exod 32:21-22 : 21 Also Moses said vnto Aaron, What did this people vnto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sinne vpon them? 22 Then Aaron answered, Let not the wrath of my Lord waxe fearce: Thou knowest this people, that they are euen set on mischiefe.
