Verse 21

And there at the Riuer, by Ahaua, I proclaimed a fast, that we might humble our selues before our God, and seeke of him a right way for vs, & for our children, and for all our substance.

Wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? 18 Then will the Lorde be ielous ouer his land, and spare his people.
Jonah 3:5 : 5 So the people of Nineueh beleeued God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth from ye greatest of the euen to the least of them.
Acts 2:39 : 39 For the promise is made vnto you, and to your children, and to all that are a farre off, euen as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Mark 10:13-16 : 13 Then they brought litle children to him, that he should touch them, and his disciples rebuked those that brought them. 14 But when Iesus sawe it, he was displeased, and said to them, Suffer the litle children to come vnto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdome of God. 15 Verely I say vnto you, Whosoeuer shall not receiue the kingdome of God as a litle childe, he shall not enter therein. 16 And he tooke them vp in his armes, and put his hands vpon them, and blessed them.
