Verse 16

Knowe that a man is not iustified by the works of the Law, but by ye faith of Iesus Christ, euen we, I say, haue beleeued in Iesus Christ, that we might be iustified by the faith of Christ, & not by the workes of the Lawe, because that by the workes of the Lawe, no flesh shalbe iustified.

It is excluded. By what Lawe? of woorkes? Nay: but by the Lawe of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude, that a man is iustified by faith, without the workes of the Lawe.
Rom 9:30 : 30 What shall we say then? That the Gentiles which folowed not righteousnes, haue attained vnto righteousnes, euen the righteousnes which is of faith.
1 Cor 6:11 : 11 And such were some of you: but yee are washed, but yee are sanctified, but yee are iustified in the Name of the Lorde Iesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Gal 3:22-24 : 22 But the Scripture hath concluded all vnder sinne, that the promes by the faith of Iesus Christ should be giuen to them that beleeue. 23 But before faith came, we were kept vnder the Law, as vnder a garison, and shut vp vnto that faith, which should afterward be reueiled. 24 Wherefore the Lawe was our scholemaster to bring vs to Christ, that we might be made righteous by faith.
Gal 4:5 : 5 That hee might redeeme them which were vnder the Law, that we might receiue the adoption of the sonnes.

Rom 4:24-5:2 : 24 But also for vs, to whom it shalbe imputed for righteousnesse, which beleeue in him that raised vp Iesus our Lord from the dead, 25 Who was deliuered to death for our sinnes, and is risen againe for our iustification. 1 Then being iustified by faith, we haue peace toward God through our Lord Iesus Christ. 2 By who also through faith, we haue had this accesse into this grace, wherein we stand, and reioyce vnder ye hope of the glory of God.
Rom 5:8-9 : 8 But God setteth out his loue towards vs, seeing that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for vs. 9 Much more then, being now iustified by his blood, we shalbe saued from wrath through him.

John 6:68-69 : 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Master, to whome shall we goe? thou hast the wordes of eternall life: 69 And we beleeue and knowe that thou art that Christ that Sonne of the liuing God.
John 20:31 : 31 But these things are written, that ye might beleeue, that Iesus is that Christ that Sonne of God, and that in beleeuing ye might haue life through his Name.
