Shall they not rise vp suddenly, that shall bite thee? and awake, that shal stirre thee? and thou shalt be their praye?

Isa 13:16-18 : 16 Their children also shall be broken in pieces before their eyes: their houses shall be spoiled, and their wiues rauished. 17 Beholde, I will stirre vp the Medes against them, which shall not regarde siluer, nor be desirous of golde. 18 With bowes also shall they destroy ye children, and shall haue no compassion vpon the fruit of the wombe, and their eies shall not spare the children.
Isa 21:2-9 : 2 A grieuous vision was shewed vnto me, The transgressour against a transgressour, and the destroyer against a destroyer. Isa 41:25 : 25 I haue raised vp from the North, and he shal come: from the East sunne shall he cal vpon my Name, & shal come vpon princes as vpo clay, and as the potter treadeth myre vnder the foote.

Wo vnto them, for their day is come, and the time of their visitation. 28 The voyce of them that flee, and escape out of the lande of Babel to declare in Zion the vengeance of the Lorde our God, and the vengeance of his Temple. 29 Call vp the archers against Babel: al ye that bend the bow, besiege it rounde about: let none thereof escape: recompence her according to her worke, & according to all that she hath done, doe vnto her: for she hath bene proud against the Lord, euen against the holy one of Israel. 30 Therefore shall her yong men fall in the streetes, and al her men of warre shalbe destroied in that day, sayeth the Lord. 31 Beholde, I come vnto thee, O proude man, saith the Lord God of hostes: for thy day is come, euen the time that I will visite thee. 32 And the proude shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him vp: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, & it shall deuoure all round about him.
Jer 51:11 : 11 Make bright the arrowes: gather the shieldes: the Lorde hath raised vp the spirit of the King of the Medes: for his purpose is against Babel to destroy it, because it is the vengeance of the Lord, and the vengeance of his Temple.
Jer 51:27-28 : 27 Set vp a standard in the lande: blowe the trumpets among the nations: prepare the nations against her: call vp the kingdomes of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz against her: appoynt the prince against her: cause horses to come vp as the rough caterpillers. 28 Prepare against her the nations with the Kings of the Medes, the dukes thereof, and the princes thereof, & all the land of his dominion.
Jer 51:57 : 57 And I will make drunke her princes, and her wise men, her dukes, and her nobles, and her strong men: and they shall sleepe a perpetuall sleepe, and not wake, sayth the King, whose Name is the Lord of hostes.
Dan 5:25-31 : 25 And this is the writing that he hath written, Mene, Mene, Tekel Vpharsin. 26 This is the interpretation of the thing, Mene, God hath nombred thy kingdome, and hath finished it. 27 Tekel, thou art wayed in the balance, and art found too light. 28 Peres, thy kingdome is deuided, and giuen to the Medes and Persians. 29 Then at the commaundement of Belshazzar they clothed Daniel with purple, and put a chaine of golde about his necke, and made a proclamation concerning him that he should be the third ruler in the kingdome. 30 The same night was Belshazzar the King of the Caldeans slaine. 31 And Darius of the Medes tooke the kingdome, being threescore and two yeere olde.
