Verse 3

Israel hath cast off ye thing that is good: the enemie shall pursue him.

Lev 26:36 : 36 And vpon them that are left of you, I will send euen a faintnes into their hearts in ye land of their enemies, & the sounde of a leafeshaken shal chase them, and they shall flee as fleeing from a sword, and they shall fall, no man pursuing them.
Deut 28:25 : 25 And the Lorde shall cause thee to fall before thine enemies: thou shalt come out one way against them, and shalt flee seuen wayes before them, & shalt be scattered through all the kingdomes of the earth.
Ps 36:3 : 3 The wordes of his mouth are iniquitie and deceit: hee hath left off to vnderstand and to doe good.
Ps 81:10-11 : 10 For I am the Lord thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide and I will fill it. 11 But my people would not heare my voyce, and Israel would none of me.
Lam 3:66 : 66 Persecute with wrath & destroy them from vnder the heauen, O Lord.
Lam 4:19 : 19 Our persecuters are swifter then the egles of the heauen: they pursued vs vpon the mountaines, and layed waite for vs in the wildernes.
Amos 1:11 : 11 Thus sayeth the Lord, For three transgressions of Edom, and for foure, I will not turne to it, because hee did pursue his brother with the sworde, and did cast off all pitie, and his anger spoyled him euermore, and his wrath watched him alway.
