Verse 12

But Ahaz sayd, I wil not aske, neither will I tempt the Lord.

Deut 6:16 : 16 Ye shal not tempt the Lord your God, as ye did tempt him in Massah:
2 Kgs 16:15 : 15 And King Ahaz commanded Vriiah the Priest, and sayde, Vpon the great altar set on fire in the morning the burnt offring, and in the euen the meate offring, and the Kings burnt offring & his meate offering, with the burnt offring of all the people of the lande, and their meate offring, and their drinke offrings: and powre thereby all the blood of the burnt offring, & all the blood of the sacrifice, and the brasen altar shalbe for me to inquire of God.
2 Chr 28:22 : 22 And in ye time of his tribulation did he yet trespasse more against ye Lord, (this is King Ahaz)
Ezek 33:31 : 31 For they come vnto thee, as the people vseth to come: and my people sit before thee, and heare thy wordes, but they will not doe them: for with their mouthes they make iestes, and their heart goeth after their couetousnesse.
Mal 3:15 : 15 Therefore wee count the proude blessed: euen they that worke wickednesse, are set vp, and they that tempt God, yea, they are deliuered.
Acts 5:9 : 9 Then Peter sayde vnto her, Why haue ye agreed together, to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? beholde, the feete of them which haue buried thine husband, are at the doore, and shall carie thee out.
1 Cor 10:9 : 9 Neither let vs tempt Christ, as some of them also tempted him, and were destroyed of serpents.
